Here’s the thing; I’ve been to a lot of pizza joints that do pizza by the slice. I’ve never once had a by the slice pizza that was made so obviously from a frozen product. It was like a digorno, or a Red Baron, or a great value brand frozen pizza.

Pizza was amazing only thing was they had so many flies on the pizza and the girl; kind of boyish, told me that’s the only way people know the place is open. (by letting all the flies in and landing on the pizza that makes perfect sense duh what was I thinking? This girl should be fired to allow flies to land on the pizza and when I commented on the flies she had an attitude like it wasn’t her fault I’m calling for her firing please do. All she had was piece of plastic covering the warming area where the pizza was. I even had the runs later proof the flies tainted up the pizza even though it was delicious. I will be filing a health complaint with the city… I can’t believe this restaurant would put customers’ health in harms way for a profit. Not cool Pup’s pizza!

Visited this pizza place yesterday Dec, 15th be warned if the pizza is just sitting there under the heating area… I noticed flies landing on the pizza. More like gnats. Good thing we bought a whole pizza freshly made to go half pepperoni half cheese which surprisingly was really good say the least! One more thing be careful sitting on the chairs..the chair my husband sat in was wobbly. Giving a 3 Star.

I understand it’s quick spot to grab pizza while driving home after the club. However, I work across the street & the staff attitude is trash!! You’re in the business of housepitality greet your customers, apologize for not being behind the counter when you notice a new customer inside the lobby. Mija if that’s to much call in nobody is forcing you to work.

Pizza by the slice. Open late. As in 2am and on busy nights until 4am! Love that. Plus the pizza itself has toppings and sauce and cheese and spice with a crust that is NY style inspired. The cheese and peperoni and meat lovers are all great picks as I tried them all. A solid 3 star effort. Why not 5? Well while the oven is set at the perfect temp and the old school oven is the perfect tool for a NY inspired pie, it is only NY inspired since no one in NY would ever use a pre made frozen crust! Yes. They import in the crust. So the crust is dense and crisp instead of air filled with a soft inside and slightly crisp ouside of the true NY fresh made hand tossed pies. And no signature east coast pizza bubbles here either due to the dense crust. And no flying dough in this pizza house. So this original northeastern guy did not find a real pizza and wants to give it only a 3 star due to the frozen crust and pre made toppings. But, the dang pie still tastes great. Oddly the use of all pre made ingredients including the crust works well here in execution and quality. Maybe the magic is in the oven. So a solid 3 star effort.
