Interesting little spot in Bloomfield. This place definitely has Salvadorian vibes. Most of the staff basically only spoke Spanish, which we actually liked because that made it feel authentic! Plus we used Google translate and could see the menu in English. We got the Pupusas and a mango juice/soda. I haven’t had many pupusas so I don’t have much to compare too, but I really enjoyed them. I thought they were also filling. Their salsa was very flavorful as well, and when I asked for the picante’ it was really good (not to spicy – highly recommended!). Extremely inexpensive and worth every penny. My gripes: they only had chicken and beans, and the bottle for the hot sauce had a very weird pourer that made the hot sauce drip down the bottle (kinda nasty since I am not sure who touched it). Traditionally, I would have expected them to have pork, so for them not to have it made us sad. Overall, I give Pupusas To Go a 3.3 out of 5.

Placed order for pickup, guy said 15mins. I got there and the guy forgot to put my order in. Then they made my pupusas and gave me the wrong stuff. I gave it 3 stars because the pupusas were big and had plenty of filling. Pretty bland for me.

I really am disappointed. The sauce was 95 percent water, the cabbage they put in these tiny bag just like the sauce. The cheese pupusas barely had cheese. I will not order from here again.

The pupusas are nasty and they skimp on the cheese, tasted like a fried tortilla . The tamales are definitely frozen. The soup my mom got was the size of a bowl of cereal and lukewarm. No music makes eating in this place awkward. The floors looks super dirty. I can’t believe what they charged me for subpar food. It should have been 20 dollars tops. Never coming back. Do ur self a favor and don’t come here either. I literally feel robbed.. unless you are starving to death you don’t have a real reason to come to this restaurant. The owner should be ashamed of himself.

Pretty good pupusas at a great price. Red sauce could use a bit more spice but overall always very good consistent pupusas.

So delicious!! I ordered via Grubhub for pickup, and it was ready and well packed so nothing spilled.

$3 pupusas were tasty. I got the chicken and cheese. They took maybe 5-10 mins but there was only one other person there. Appreciate the freshness! Only downside is that we didn’t get escabeche, just the pickled red onion and tomato salsa. Not sure if it was because we went really close to closing time. Would go again!

Their baleadas are to die for. Forget the pupusas. I mean pupusas are good too, but baleadas are insane!
