Im very disappointed, today the waitress was a young lady who was very rude seemed like she was mad; I ask her what was the name of a sweet bread that looked like a cookie and she responded back with an attitude and said “ I don’t know “ and she left: it’s my third time coming in to Pupuseria El Carrisal I really enjoyed last past two times I was there, because a sweet little girl who has great customer service skills for only being maybe around 10 years old waited me the first time I was very happy with her service, second time was these past Saturday a young men who also had a good attitude and great customer service skills. I usually go to Myra’s Salvadorian Cuisin in Downey CA , but a friend of mine invited me to a Carrisal gave the place a thumbs up, and she was right , pupusas are yummy, meet enpanadas, bread quesadilla except atole wasn’t as good ; but today pupusas didn’t have enough stuffing, I think the young lady waitress didn’t like me, don’t know why, it’s to bad to have people like her serving in a restaurant because food is not for free.

Just walked in tried to order I’m giving my order lady writes down then while I’m still giving my order walks away leaves me talking walked to the back didn’t come back minute later a guy comes with an with an attitude says what are you going to want… I told him I was giving the lady my order where is she and he’s like so what do you want we just walked away. Won’t be coming back for sure. Ever … never ….

Found El Carrisal by accident; a very happy one! Food was outstanding: hand made tortillas, delicious el pastor, wonderful chili relleno made to order from scratch. Staff was warm & delightful. I only wish Pupuseria El Carrisal was in Ventura instead of Downey!!
