This is a small restaurant where you can kill a craving for some pupusas.

I was born in El Salvador and have lived in four departments of the country. I can honestly say that this restaurant does not represent the significance of our ancestral food. Never have I paid for food (here in the U.S. or there in El Salvador) that was this diminished in quality! The desiccated texture & stiffness of the pupusas, yuca frita, and chicharrones is almost identical to the consistency of food that has been microwaved too many times. The food had completely bland flavors and the curtido was SAD. I have never tasted curtido that was missing the foundational ingredient of vinegar. If this one had vinegar, it must have just been sprayed on like perfume. All in all, never again!

Starting off Pupusas i order were Resueltas for the price its a ok. They were good can you get better ones drive around & find out. This Restaurant caters to this neighborhood & word of mouth. I also tried the Horchata this is not a Mexican Horchata does that mean it taste terrible absolutely not, it’s made different so different taste not bad at all. And finally i tried a chicken tamale it was delicious i would love to get some more for breakfast on the weekend . So i would like to Highly Recommend this Restaurant that’s my review.

Beans and rice are good. Pupusas at best i would rate 2 out of 5 stars. No seasoning on them just tastes like warm Styrofoam, They have a funny taste to them. It kind of matches the strange lingering smell in the building. I don’t know what it was but it was not a pleasant stench. Ps the waitress never bothered to explain which is which so we had to guess what’s inside. The cortido is NOT good at all. It lacked flavor. Just keep driving down the street to the next pupusa restaurant. Much better there. You’ll thank me later. Ps after reading some comments the owner doesn’t seem to care about customers feedback. It’s a real shame.

The food is delicious and freshly made. The flavor is very authentic. The restaurant is not too big ang does get crowded. Service is a bit on the slow side.

To those that said the pupusas were good, all don’t know what good is. Pupusas were bland, hardly had any filling, and the curtido was NOT curtido.
