This place tends to have long wait times regardless if it’s busy or not. The staff are friendly. The food is consistent, pretty good. The only thing is we did find a hair in the pupusas we ordered the other night so they should try and be more careful.

Worst pupusas I had ever had. I can only give it a one star for rating purposes but I wish I could give it a negative rating. I order pupusas for 3 people. Six (6) beans and cheese four (4) cheese and zucchini and one revuelta.

If you’re looking for delicious pupusas, Pupuseria La Familiar is not the place to go. The pupusas here are a disgrace to the dish’s traditional recipe. The masa is too thick and hard, making it difficult to chew and leaving a pasty feeling in your mouth. The filling is also mediocre at best, lacking flavor and depth.

Terrible service. I called to place my order, the lady who answered was talking to someone else at the same time she was taking my order and obviously after picking up our order we got home and the order was wrong.
