This California Love burrito was EVERYTHING, that thing was loaded up! I got crispy tots, cheese, guac, pico, salsa, and added vegan carnitas which were sooo good! I had never seen vegan carnitas so I had to try.

We found this place last year when we became vegetarians. The food is amazing. Really good flavor and a nice variety of menu. Their location at the Line Kitchen is a neat concept, but you can’t communicate with the restaurant or ask questions if need be, and ordering for the 1st time is a little odd. A meal can feel a bit pricey in comparison to some other restaurants, but it is good quality for a harder to find specialty in the Sacramento area. We love their “chicken” sandwiches. It’s fun to pick it up at The Line Kitchen and walk to Sac State campus and eat on the lawns there with our family.

I attempted several times to order online. Unfortunately they were experiencing technical issues. The food is probably good but I wasn’t able to order. Customer service was extremely friendly and apologized for the system.

Yes please. Vegan with pure soul. This reminded me a bit of Dharma’s Kitchen in Florida. No dine in but there is outdoor seating or take out. You knock at the window when you’re ready to order and one comes out. We ordered the Auntie Soul Plate (1 protein, 2 sides, drink) with the Nashville Hottie, Mac and cheese, potato salad, fresh squeezed lemonade.

The food is flavorful and experimental but the preparation and display is straight up abysmal. Overpriced asl, $12-14 for a burger? For this price I’d assume at least the service can back up the price point, but time and time again I keep getting cold food? Text messaging systems that aren’t even used so how is the customer supposed to know their food is ready even when sitting in the lot. Which leads to atmosphere, and the lack thereof. For a restaurant that is hinged on its cultural influences and internet presence, the physical side of the woowop is severely lacking. I just want good food and good service from good people.

Everything was so delicious! My sister is a vegetarian and she got the barbacoa burrito and was in heaven. I tried it and the texture was great, the seasoning was just right, and the whole combination was perfect. Tater tots were crispy! My brother who is lactose intolerant was finally able to have some delicious mac and cheese. I reccomend everything from burritos, sandwhiches to drinks.

The website to order from is unusable, so I had to use Doordash. I did a pickup order, and when I drove over there was no parking at all. When I finally found a spot to park and go get my food, I went to the window and got a bag but no drink. I asked about it and the woman at the window said it was in the bag. Weird, but ok. Got back to my job site, and there was no drink, just a straw.

Recently went plant based but had some hormonal cravings I needed to address. Door Dash’ed myself a Badu Burger and Cauli-love bites. Hubby got the My Chick’n Bad and Garlic Tots. Everything was delicious!!!!! They got a new fan and customer in me. I can’t even share pictures because we gobbled it like we haven’t eaten in days! Keep doing what you’re doing Pure Soul!

So grateful to have this amazing vegan restaurant in East Sac. They have a good variety on the menu and I can’t wait to try everything out! I had the bbq jackfruit sandwich and seasoned tator tots. Everything was super delicious. The sandwich was a little on the spicy side and it had a good kick if you like that. The sandwich was huge and I got two meals out of it. The coleslaw and fried onions on top were a nice added touch and so yummy. The online ordering was very easy on their website and it was ready at the time it stated. They also deliver through a couple of delivery apps. They bring everything out to you so you don’t have to go inside when picking up due to the COVID-19 regulations. My only complaint is their hours don’t seem to be super stable. I would advise checking their social media to see if they are open.
