Hadn’t been here for 10 or so years. Nice place. Dining room very nice, clean. Beautiful building. My chicken pot pie was fantastic. But my friend’s fish and chips were much to be desired. Batter was not cooked all the way through. She couldn’t even put her fork through. It was like they had microwaved it. I don’t recommend ordering them. It’s too bad because it’s a beautiful building. We told them and they did not comp dessert or a discount. Bad business. too many places to chose from in Bethel. I guess it’s a good bar and pub food place. Drop the fish n chips!

Good stuff! Got the signature burger, chickenpot pie, calamari, and some wings. Burger was as expected! Chickenpot pie was pretty shockingly big. We don’t get chickenpot pies often but this was definitely a different way of setting it. Flavor was right but a bit liquidy and not enough filling. Overall. Still happy! Wings were great, if you’re eating outside in the wind, be sure to eat those quick. Becasue when they’re hot and cirspy, it’s delicious. Once they’re exposed to the cold breeze it’s more crunchy and dry. So eat those quick!

Food is consistently above the bar. Each meal comes with a side salad, the wings are amazing. I get take-out from here once a week and the quality is just as good as if you’re eating in. Best beef stew I’ve ever had. Essentially, everything is fantastic.
