The strangest experience trying to come to this place. Quirky area but based off all the reviews we really wanted to try it. Came at 6:30, clearly business hours, and it was closed. A group of people was sitting outside, clearly making fun of us for trying to eat at their establishment. They tried to tell us to come back tomorrow cause they’d start selling burgers, then whispered under their breath, NOT. Very strange encounter that left a VERY bad taste in my mouth for this place. Do yourselves a favor and AVOID.

Great local eatery! We stopped here on the way back from Kilauea Point. I loved their teri beef sandwich and the banana bread I bought to-go. I had more expensive meals on Kawaii, but none better. Their small dirt driveway goes by quickly on 56, so keep your eyes peeled.

Easy to order on line I like that , saimin was yummy . But I paid $23 for kalbi ribs plate that weren’t very good it was very hard to chew and the sauce was really thick and too rich almost like tar . Disappointed about the kalbi cause it was really expensive but pretty small and not very good at all , I was expecting something pretty good for $23 .

Best Saimin on Kauai! Seriously. Great atmosphere with a really friendly and accommodating staff. Better than the other higher rated saimin places that I was really excited for. My only regret is that I went once. Amazing pie too. Get the char suu saimin and banana cream pie. You won’t be dissaponted.

Fantastic products! Had the malasadas (lilikoi, mango, guava? ones) and took back a loaf of braided sweetbread. Amazing flavors. Trip from Kona out to Volcanoes NP was a bust (cloud deck/rain) and this stop saved the whole trip!
