I recently visited QDOBA in Manalapan and tried their birria burrito. As someone who typically gets this type of food at Chipotle, I was excited to see how it would compare. I usually opt for the bowl at Chipotle, but I remembered how delicious the burrito at QDOBA was from my last visit over 10 years ago.

I never leave reviews but I’m leaving a poor one this time. We called ahead 10 minutes to ask about impossible meat and after confirmation “there’s a lot left” we get there and they have no impossible meat left because “3 customers got here and finished it”. I ask for shrimp and I get like 4 pieces, one small scoop of guacamole on my burrito which I paid extra for. Very stingy. Never coming back.

I went in on the weekend to go get some dinner, there was not one person in the restaurant and when I walked in the employee, she was so very rude from the minute I asked her a question about the menu to the whole time she was serving me the food. I was going to dine in but i felt not welcome in the restaurant

Usually a great experience but today the service was awful and unpleasant. The kids who usually work here are excellent and always very welcoming and nice. The 3 people working today were so miserable. They did not crack a single smile, and any request was met with glares. When giving our orders they weren’t listening and were putting the wrong things in our bowls. So disappointed and hope this isn’t the new normal.

I highly recommend this Qdoba location. Since it opened, I have eaten inside as well as done takeout on several occasions. The food has always been very fresh. And the portions are healthy. The service and the staff are commendable. The manager, Alex, is always exceptionally friendly and makes you feel right at home. I highly recommend the Birria and the queso, as they are by far my favorites
