We have not been to Qdoba in years. The food was what you could expect for fast food. Not bad, not amazing. The overall experience though was disappointing. Walking up I was unsure if the restaurant was even open. The young man taking most of our order sounded as if he was going to fall asleep where he was standing. His care with the food assembly was mediocre at best and if I had a business I would not want the individuals at the counter representing me in such a disinterested, disrespectful way.

I should’ve known better than to get food from this gentrified Mexican takeout spot. the employees took their time finishing their conversation before even greeting me. When I was asking the young boy at front of the counter simple questions (because I’ve never been there before) he was giving me such an attitude. If the employees act like this then I cannot imagine how little care goes into the food. Save your time and energy and go find other local AUTHENTIC Mexican dine in spots to eat at.

The girl who got us our food was rude. She had long brown hair in a ponytail and blue eyes. She was short, dull, and acted like she didn’t care about anything we said. The food is good but come on… customer service matters. If you don’t want to be nice stay home.

I have gone one or more night a week every week this winter after skiing and every time I’ve gone the staff have been rude at best. I am disappointed because I genuinely like the food but the treatment I’ve received as a customer has made me seriously consider not eating there anymore, or at least going out of my way to the Qdoba across town instead as their staff was very kind. I don’t expect over the top excitement or anything, I just don’t want to be treated like a major burden or like it’s ridiculous that I would want but the food you are selling.

The burrito bowl is so good! I love the fresh made food with awesome flavors. The store was redecorated inside since my last visit. It has more space between tables and a more modern style. Definitely more accessible for wheel chair users than previously. Plus they have that come machine that makes any flavor drink you can think of! One of the only places to get vanilla Coke anymore!

We are big fans of Chipotle, but there wasn’t a location in Wausau, so we decided to give Qdoba a try. We were pleased to discover they’re not all that different. Portion sizes for proteins seem slightly more generous at Chipotle, but the overall choices to create your burrito or bowl were more varied at Qdoba. The kids meal selections were preferable at Qdoba, and our 4 children ate heartily and happily. We will definitely be stopping here anytime we’re in Wausau.

Stopped mid afternoon and the restaurant was disgusting. There was only 1 other customer when we arrived and the workers were standing behind the counter doing nothing. There wasn’t 1 single clean table to eat at and garbages were full & bathrooms were disgusting too. After they made our order, they stood behind the counter talking when they could have been washing down the tables or emptying the garbages. The floors had garbage under the tables as well. Unfortunately, nothing seems to have improved since the review from another customer a month ago.

I frequent this location about twice a week with no issues or problems, however today was a different story. I was yelled at by the cashier saying I am banned from the location due to constantly “trashing it” as I normally eat here about twice a week why was this never brought up ever before? We are always courteous of the employees and clean up after ourselves and throw out our trash. I eat here the same way every week cleaning up after myself as I do in every other restaurant that I eat why was I all of a sudden banned from this location if this was never an issue before.
