Beignet Burger
We have been called the Home of The Beignet Burger. This All American 1/3 hamburger patty topped with melted Colby Jack Cheese, smokey bacon, & strawberry preserve (trust me on this 1) is being hugged by 2 beignets & topped with powdered sugar.
It’s a must try & NO we will not modify this burger. Trust the process & get it as is. Live a little.

Bayou Tigre
Our All American 1/3 hamburger patty with melted American cheese, fried onion rings seasoned with Lee’s Cajun Blends and topped with Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce.
If you’re REALLY hungry, make it a double, BUT be warned. it’s called the Cajun NyQuil for a reason.

Finally got to try this place. I had the MIGHTY Beignet Burger! All I can say is wow, perfect balance of sweet and savory. Not overly sweet at all. The burger patty was seasoned very well, bacon was just a perfect smoky salty addition, and jelly sandwiched between two fresh homemade beignets with just a mild dusting of powdered sugar. Great balance with a wonderful bite! Totally worth the calories. Great lemonade to wash it all down. I caught this fantastic crew at the end of their lunch service and the owner came out to ask what I thought. We had a great conversation about his business and his start in the food industry. Good people here, check out this great little wonder and enjoy some amazing food.

Full disclosure: the owner of QDog Cafe is my nephew. However, I have wanted to try QDog’s famous Beignet Burger since he opened his business. OMG! QDog Cafe’s Beignet Burger is the BEST burger I have EVER tasted in my life and I am 61 years old! The sweet & savory flavors blend perfectly in the mouth. Don’t ask for any modifications. Order the Beignet Burger exactly as QDog designed it.The flavors are amazing and the burger is absolutely delicious! And from what other regular customers onsite told me, some of QDog’s other dishes are as good or even better than his famous Beignet Burger. Okay, I MIGHT be biased a bit, but honestly, QDog Cafe’s food is amazing! I HIGHLY recommend QDog Cafe for some of the best food you’ll ever taste!
