The food is great. Fresh and flavorful. Best Chinese I’ve had in Galveston County.

Moved to Galveston the first of the year, and I have lamented the lack of edible Chinese food on the island. We ventured to Texas City today and before we left, I used Google Maps to find all the Chinese restaurants in the area. Found and chose this one based on the recent reviews. They did not steer us wrong on this!

Since there aren’t many options in TC, it’s good. 4 stars because the portions are nice, and service is friendly. Reheated the white rice, broccoli & kung pow chicken with an egg to make a stir fry.

Spontaneous dinner at Qing Qing. Outside impressions turned on all the alarm bells in my head but it is way better inside than out. Food was fresh and hot and veggies were definitely fresh. Will be back

This review is so customers are informed. The waiters/waitresses do not get to keep their tips. The owners/managers keep them. One of the waitstaff told me they make like $12/hr. It is legal because they make at least minimum wage, but as a customer, you should know where your tips are going.

Right out the bag, everything smelled divine I was craving lo mein and I figured I couldn’t go wrong with the house lo mein. It was delicious!! It really hit the spot. Perfectly seasoned, SO SOOO tasty. Whatever y’all are doing, keep it up!!! the spring rolls and the homestyle bean curd was sooo yummy!!! I’m ordering here whenever I’m in town.

Their service is so fast, and no matter what you order, everything comes out fresh. We usually go here for dinner, and their dinner specials offer a lot of variety at a great price. We usually get takeout, but their in house seating is super nice and comfortable. Will be coming back frequently to try everything.

There is no way I’m not going back. Tasty and priced right with ample portions. Good service from pleasant and knowledgeable staff. I’m going with four stars because the enterior decor is a little tired and one of the booths is torn up. Soft fabric can not be adequately cleaned. The vegetables were also a little dried out. You can tell they’re hand cut. Probably prepared/cut during a lull earlier in the day. Same thing you find at a salad bar-no big deal. The sauce is flavorful, the rice is moist, and the spring rolls hot and crispy. Their neat trick is keeping the battered chicken crispy without overcooking it My wife ordered sesame chicken. It was well sauced and the chicken had a nice little crunch to it. The hot and sour Soup was interesting. It was the first time I had ever had it with pieces of meat in it and some onion. It was tasty. It’s worth trying.

I ordered the bourbon chicken, fried rice and an egg roll for pick up. I should have looked at it before leaving the restaurant. After I got back to my hotel room I realized the chicken was seriously burnt. It was dry and tough and had a burnt flavor. Unfortunately it was too late to return to the restaurant so all I could do was throw it away. That was $16.59 gone to waste. I’ll never order from Qing Qing in Texas City again. It was the worst!
