This was one of few non-chain spots open near the beach on a random Tuesday. The food was good, but it was a long wait for it. It wasn’t crazy busy and we arrived pretty close to when they opened. The kids meal portions were great and their nugs were more meat than breading, which was great. I got the oyster po boy and my partner got the spicy chicken sandwich (wasn’t that spicy but good). The fries were better than the onion rings. Those were super greasy and I wouldn’t get them again. The inside space is cute, clean, but limited in space. There are also outside picnic tables with umbrellas, which is where we chose to eat.

Great shrimp burger sliders and fried chicken. Fries are coated in tempura batter and are light and crispy! Restaurant is clean and the employees are friendly. Highly recommend.

The chicken tenders are big, very tender, and perfectly breaded. They look beautiful! Unfortunately, they are VERY bland! They need salt or something. Even after dipping them in sauce, they still have a very noticeably bland flavor. I liked that the potato salad wasn’t sweet like most places, but I still didn’t like it. I’m not sure what it was. Maybe celery seed? Not sure. The fries are good, but they are the skinny, shoestring kind. I prefer a larger cut. The tea isn’t good at all. The tiger blood sauce is good. It reminds me of hot Yum Yum sauce, but thinner.

Small spot with a few tables inside and a few outside. Girl at the counter got our order wrong as we ordered a 3 piece basket and got 4 somewhat dry chicken tenders. Hand breaded onion rings were good, but had a lot of tempora type batter. View from outside tables was nice. Not a spot I’d highly recommend, but good for an occasional lunch. Q’s on Bay is much better!

We went for a snack after the state park then went for lunch the next day because it was soo good. The chicken sandwich with a fried egg was delicious! The mac n cheese is definitely a suggestion!
