The goal for our restaurant is to stay connected to our roots, providing our people with the food they miss from our island, while also connecting to the very community we reside in. We want to illustrate the vibrancy and tantalizing dishes we inherited from our culture. It is a celebration of flavorings that we encourage all to indulge in. Worst place on the planet. Owner is rude. Went to pick up an order for a customer rang the bell owner came out and told me the order was canceled. I called DoorDash. They called the merchant who said they had the order. I called the merchant to ask her why she told me it was canceled when it wasn’t. She became extremely rude and belligerent. I kept DoorDash on the phone as I went back to the store to retrieve the food she did not answer the door. I spoke to a police officer who was security in the building, told him the situation he gave me the company that runs the building where this merchant rents from and I will be reaching out to them. If you don’t want to work and serve your customers go back home, you are not welcome here.

Just devoured this amazing garlicky mofongo and tender beef stew. Don’t get me started on the parcha! I can’t say enough good things about this meal. The flavors are exceptional, the portions are perfect and the price is affordable. I’ve been disappointed before going to Spanish restaurants, so anything I want I usually make myself. This is a complete breath of fresh air to find amazing quality food that I didn’t have to cook! Thank you Que Chèvere! ♥️

Que Chévere operates out of The Commissary inside Mercantile on Main. They have THE BEST empanadillas I’ve ever had. I love all of them, but the beef and cheese is my favorite. Everything I’ve ordered from here has been stellar.

Tostones were some of the best I ever had. The mayo-ketchup served with it is amazing. Empanadas were so delicious and flavorful. They even had impossible meat options for vegetarians! Highly recommend

If I could give this place 10 stars I would this has been by far the most authentic/ most delicious Puerto Rican food I’ve had in Rochester so far. We had el jibarito sandwich and the mofongo de pernil and it tasted like I went back home for the first time in 6 years. I will be coming back it’s the only place that truly feels like they cook with love.

Got this pork Sandwich on July 4th, 2021. It was delicious. I have recommended many people to check them out. Not only do they have many tasty fillings (Pork and Tripleta being my favorites), it is great to have a sandwich where the bread isn’t so thick that’s all you taste. The roll here is thin with a crispy crust. It not only makes the fillings stand out, it is tasty on it’s own. I highly recommend Que Chèvere.
