We have the 12 street taco platter and it was pretty good. The carne asada is on point. Get that. It was a nice day so we were able to sit outside. Have some drinks, eat some tacos and get a little tan. If I’m in the back in North Carolina in Chapel Hill then I’ll definitely come back and have some of those tacos.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was so good! We ordered the chula poblano tacos and platano rellano and they were both so good! The margs were also really delicious. I was expecting a bit of a college Mexican restaurant vibe, but was pleasantly surprised. Can’t wait to come back!

Monster margaritas, great tacos, and wonderful outdoor eatery. My best friend and I came here for some drinks on a sunny afternoon. We got to pick our seat outside under some shade and we were greeted quickly with water and chips and salsa. She got a lime mojito and I got the famous swirl. Both drinks came out in pretty glasses and fast. They were both strong, but refreshing. The famous swirl is a slushie consistency and the mojito is more smooth to finish. We ordered carnitas tacos and pastor tacos. They came in threes with a side which we both ordered as plantains. The tacos came in corn tortillas that are not fried like street tacos but softer with a lot of meat in the taco. The plantains were not that sweet and tasted overall great. It’s a fun little place to get a drink with daily specials including the famous monster margaritas and then some great eats on Franklin St.

This place is beautiful. The nachos were amazing. The chile relleno was good. The jalapeños stuffed with cheese and bacon were good. It could use a bit more flavor. The house margarita was nice but not strong. I love the environment. It has nice vibes. It was strange to be at a Mexican restaurant that didn’t play Mexican music. I think playing Mexican music adds to the environment, culture, and experience.

Good food, medium service. Getting a table was very chaotic. I think there was something wrong with their electronic system because it seemed like tables were open when they weren’t, so there was confusion with getting people seated. We opted to wait to sit indoors rather than immediately sit outside. The wait was about 40 minutes, which is aligned to what they told us it would be. It’s a text system where they will send you a text when your table is ready.

We randomly stopped here for lunch before our show at the planetarium and were not disappointed. They had fantastic service and a great, clean atmosphere. The food was delicious and they had quite a few gluten free and vegetarian options for me to boot. Plus they were able to make something for my picky eater, which was a huge surprise. Very pleased and will definitely be back when we come back to the area.

The steak and shrimp are so tender and juicy. I need to say Que Chula’s Fajita just beat all other Fajitas I’ve tried before. Love it! I also like the lighting effect here, it makes the holiday feeling even better.
