So we’ve been to the king right..well now who is this queen city burgers place? Thought I might try them out as it appears to be slow and I have to wonder why.. so attended for lunch and had a chicken sandwich with fries and a red velvet cake shake. Now the food was made to order and freshly prepared. Quailty of food is comparable for sure, and the fries I would say taste better then the king. Prices however seem high per meal yet can’t say their not in range compared to other burger spots I reckon. The dining area is decorated nice and updated, could be said the reason being there high price of the meals is helping pay for the updates or the recent relocation perhaps. Whichever though as pretty as it is and was a relaxing dining experience with but one other customer taking his order to go. So no waiting other then for food to be made. And with it being so slow I could only expect the floors to be at least swept up and seeing the worker come out to look at the table where I was seated only to not wipe it down at all. So cleanliness is something I would like to see more efforts on. Just like the curb appeal as had fresh pot of flowers by the door yet 2ft tall grass in the yard area. No wonder people are confused about weather it’s opened or not. I have half a mind to offer my landscaping services. But that’s all here not there, the question being is my experience worth the value of the money I paid ? Honestly I do not think I would care to go back. They have a basic menu and some sort of donut special but just not feeling the place. Can’t say they are not all on the same page as means of what it is they are offering other then something we can get with the king. Sorry queen, just not for me.

I used to LOVE eating here. The burgers were insane, had a great variety and at a great price. Western BBQ and Breakfast were straight legendary. The waffle fries were to DIE FOR. I really wish I had told more people about these before because you can’t get them anymore! Burgers and onion rings are still good but nothing like the old menu.

The staff was friendly and the Caprese Burger was very good. Didnt get a chance to try the milk shake yet, but the Sweet potatoe fries were some of the best ive ever eaten and the chili honey dipping sauce was fantastic. I look forward to another visit.

I’ve lived in MQT for two years and am so disappointed that I had not tried this place sooner. I needed something to eat, but it was after 9pm and this was one of the few places open (and Taco Bell had a 20 car line, as per usual). I am so glad that I went. The peanut butter shake was one of the best I ever had – I wish I had gotten a large. And the chicken parm sandwich was awesome. Perfect portion size, and super satisfying. They have an incredibly extensive menu, and the only place I have ever seen where you can get Totino’s pizza rolls as a side. This experience really turned a bad day into a good one.

Ordered pick up, food was ready to go when they said 10-15 mins. Burger cooked well, not dry, cheese curds are good. But they forgot the cheese sauce on my burger or with my with my cheese curds which cost extra that I was charged for and didnt get.. so the burger could have def been better with cheese. Good buns though. Cheese curds are good, hopefully they work out all the kinks and get ontop of their game. Also I will never pay that much for a Nathan’s hotdog when you can get em for half the price at holiday gas station. Meal total was $15.77 for just myself no drink. So expect to pay, but give them a try food is good they just need time to figure themselves out, I would try them again in the future

First let me say, the gentleman helping us was awesome, and it got done pretty quick. But. After only have negative experiences in the past, we wanted to try QC once more, to see if it was a fluke but the gentleman helping us was the only good part. Our loaded French fries had WAY too many uncooked white onions all over the top, we couldn’t even take them off without taking off most of the cheese, and it was hella salty. At a whopping $7.95 before taxes, these were not worth the cost. Next, We got six onion rings, literally six, with a few small ones even at $5.50 (before tax) and they tasted bad; like bad onion or bad fryer oil. They sat out for a little bit before we got them which was unfortunate because it caused them to be barely warm once we got to to try them, in the car, right after leaving the parking lot. Our order was to go. Both of our burgers were way too salty. My steak house burger $8.95 had a greasy soggy bun on half of it and was too salty to eat. The black and bleu $9.50 was just salty. There was no flavor in either of our burgers besides salt. We got shakes and they were alright. Can’t really mess those up. Though the peppermint shake had a bit too much candy cane pieces. We just had to throw away $35 worth of food and will be left hungry still. I wouldn’t waste money here again. The one star is for the staff being kind and courteous and having a nice looking facility; food was no good.(pictured is half of the onion rings, the small box they came in, and the attempt at taking off the millions of raw onions. As you can see the cheese came with the onions)

The food was great! The burger meal costs a bit more than McDonald’s or other fast food places, but you get what you pay for. It’s big meaty burger, and more fries than the average person can eat. They even have gluten free buns which a lot of places don’t carry. Which the wife appreciated. Restaurant was clean.

QC crafts solid burgers. It’s a good addition to the Marquette food scene, but… it’s going to have to improve to beat out, or even compete with, the competition. As others have said, the bun is good. The meat blend is one of the best in town (props!), but it gets drowned by other flavors and even the bun. Maybe two patties (12oz) would change that, but that ups the price. And at that price point the Burger Bus and Delft offer better burgers in this style. Only a buck or two more and you get delicious locally raised beef (cooked to medium rare, so you can taste its qualities), house made pickles, and an amazing bun at the Marq. While I applaud a burger joint opening (especially with late night hours), I’m waiting for the food to catch up to the price or to impress me. Best of luck QC.

I enjoyed my food but had several serious issues. I was ripped off, and given UNCOOKED RAW FOOD.

One of the worst meals I have ever had. Avocados were brown, slimy, old maybe moldy. The sandwiches are dry same with the fries- dry and not seasoned properly. Worst $50 spent. The coney dogs were not traditional nor cooked right, bun was stale and fell apart. I think the owners need to look into the kitchen and start looking at getting fresh produce or teach their chefs what is fresh and what is not. Do not recommend. Would like a full refund.
