Food was decent. Service at the end ruined it. Absolutely appalling and embarrassing! Will never be back. Our server came to our table and loudly asked us, “Was everything with the service alright?” To which we responded “Yes” then he said “Tip is usually 20%” he embarrassed all of us and made us pay $30 more to the $20 we already gave him. There aren’t words for how disgusting this act was. I am COMPLETELY disappointed. Not sure what type of training the servers have but this man clearly needs some rework to his attitude and career choice.

Absolutely gorgeous authentic italian restaurant with great service, genuine conversation. Food was just as good as the service! 10/10! If you are in the North New Jersey area, this is a for sure date night location.

I’m doing this Review for a friend because he does not have a Google Account. He went to New Jersey for a couple weeks and found this Restaurant. She said it was one of the best in New Jersey. The best aspects were the Food and the atmosphere. She said that the service was awsome too but she liked the food and the atmosphere the best. But the best part was that the Restaurant and the bakery were ant the same place. She ate the food and immediately switched ti the bakery. Definitely worth a try.

Visited tonight for the first time and I must say our experience was very good. It’s a BYOB restaurant so bring your own.We had a party of six and we were seated right away, it’s helps if you call in advance and make a reservation. The seating is very tight but ok. The fresh bread was delightful and it’s made on the premises. The food was very good and plated beautifully. The stuffed flounder was excellent, and the sea bass, mussels and shrimp were very good. The bakery attached to the restaurant is outstanding. The service was very good and the prices are very fair. Will definitely be back.

A little piece of Italy! The atmosphere and the food are both superb; from the owner greeting you at the door to fresh and visible spice garden, this place is truly authentic. It starts with fresh baked bread. Perfectly airy and crispy, but this is not a butter spot – although you could probably get some. They give you this garlicy/Italiany dip which is out of this world. I would literally drink it, plus it can be used to dip pizza crust in. Speaking of pizza crust, we got the Diavolo, which is a margarita pizza which suppersota….it’s no joke. Perfectly salty, obviously coal fired and fresh basil make it the perfect bite. As you know we are big calamari people, and they do it right! Not overly salt and great homemade marinara dipping sauce. For the entre we got the Penne Ala Vodka and it was rediclous. What I like is that they have a more wet, milky sauce here that falls to the bottom so the pasta stays al’dente. They shred fresh Parmigiano on top and finish it with basil. These simply ingredients done right are delicious! This place is attached to a bakery so naturally we got the oreo cake for dessert. It was so tasty and decadent. The rainbow cakes on the side were the perfect flavor compliment. We had two espressos – a must after an Italian meal, and they were obviously great. The staff are all amazing and you can tell it’s a family atmosphere, they make you feel so welcomed. During dinner the owner will sing beautiful Italian music for the restaurant, which adds culture.I would say you should get a reservation because not surprisingly, they get packed! Oh and it’s a BYOB which is always fun. They prefer cash, just an FYI. Which is typical of this type of venue. Overall I give Queen Margherita Trattoria a 4.7 out of 5, a must visit Italian experience.

Great little Italian restaurant with some awesome food. Much more impressed with dinner than lunch, but they were both very good. It’s bring your own wine if you want that with dinner.

I come to NY from Italy 5-6 times per year and at this restaurant I feel like being at home. The food is absolutely amazing. The quality of the ingredients is very high, the preparation of the dishes is perfect and also the service is quick and kind. The owner Pasquale is an amazing person and his brother in the kitchen is a superb chef. Congratulations guys, you are a true Italian Embassy in NJ!
