My Wife and I began our small business on March 1991 at our initial location next to the uptown area at McKinney and Lemon. Since that time we’ve moved to the Addison area and for nearly three decades our commitment to serving the Dallas community is as strong as ever. Our community is family and our mission is to always serve authentic great tasting Ethiopian, Italian and Vegetarian food. With over 30 years of experience cooking in the finest restaurants, our chef is excited to present their vision to you and all our guests. With a wide variety of Ethiopian, Italian and Vegetarian dishes. Also, almost all of our Vegetarian dishes contain NO animal products. In addition, we carry Hala meat choices for our Lamb, Chicken and Beef dishes.
Traditional Ethiopian dishes join Italian fare in a sunny, white-columned space with high ceilings. Based on 751 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.5 stars. Price $$

We randomly chose this restaurant to try some Ethiopian cuisine and didn’t check the reviews or photos before we go. It was absolutely AMAZING! The waitress and the owner were very caring and kind. The atmosphere, the service, food, we loved everything. We will definitely come and eat here again

Very accomodating for a large group! Host was super nice! I recommend #35 on the menu -lamb. Will definitely come again. I believe they also have some gluten free options.

So I’ve found a new favorite! Funky 70s and 80s music like Frankie Valli, The Police Bob Marley, and the Fixx, playing in the background while the nicest server congratulated me for finishing the vegan mixed sampler plate served on top of a perfect square of Injera bread. Yeah, this is the real injera made of teff flour that Ethiopia has declared a national treasure and restricted overseas output… What a TREAT! Simple but eclectic; spongy and light, with a slightly earthy sour dough taste, their bread does a phenomenal job of absorbing and complementing the flavors of the dishes.

Got the Doro Tibs with beets. The dish was good. Beets were amazing, but the Tibs lacked depth of flavor. Not what i have experienced at other Ethiopian resturants, however it was not a bad dish at all. My friend got the Doro Wat. I will say the sauce on the Wat was amazing. You can tell that it took some time in the pot to cook down. Next time, I’m getting that dish. Sorry, no picture of it. The dessert was Ethiopian Bread Pudding and some coffee. Delicious . Overall, it was a pleasant experience and the food was good. I would recommend it.

I’ve had ethiopian food before but this one is officially one of my favorites. The staff is very sweet and helps you navigate the menu if you have any questions. The foods come primarily in two different cooking styles either a slow roast over a longer time or a sauté. The injira is great and they keep it coming as needed. Overall i have nothing negative to say about this place and I will be coming back.

First the restaurant is so elegant and beautiful. It has a cozy romantic vibe. They are really nice and provide wonderful service. I had the chicken and rice with a side of shiro and it was really good. Hubby had the chicken parm and he enjoyed it. We had a great experience there. We didn’t have room for dessert but I definitely plan on going back to try some.

Dinner was great. We shared some sambusas and made our own combo with beef, lamb, and veggies. Great flavors, and a local spot. It was more than enough for two. They have Italian food too, so your less adventurous friends can still join you. Location is in a little bit of a dead area.

My friend and I stopped by here because I was craving Ethiopian food and the food here was delish! The service was off the charts and the young lady at the front just made this restaurant feel like home. After she sat us down, she went and got down at the party that was going on on the other side of the restaurant. Made me want to go over there! But I’ll probably have to go here again just to see what it’s like on a more calmer night to see how the non-party atmosphere is like. Definitely recommend this place!
