Got the Classic burger with jalapenos, sea salt fries and some tea. The burger was not bad but the jalapenos were zero spicy and to be honest the fries were okay but I am not a fan of thin fries..especially when 1/2 of them are about 1in long. Always glad to see restaurants in Durham. this one is okay.. maybe visit annually.

It is a good burger. They get bonus points for supporting local businesses, i.e. local beef, local, ice cream, sandwiches, etc. I could see order in a single being too small for most people besides, kids for adults definitely go for the double. I realize hamburgers are highly personal but my pet peeve is when you ask for a bacon cheeseburger. I want the bacon to play an active role, from the looks of it. It was one piece of bacon cut to fourths I hardly knew it was there.

Was downtown during lunch and decided to try for the first time. Vibe was good, large menu to read, fountain drink and free flowing condiments. I found the veggie burger to be average and the fries were good. I would equate the food to the same as when I get the same from Freddy’s fast food. They are downtown location so prices are higher. I requested no pickles- ticket and sticker on burger State no pickles… guess what was included…?yes ,pickles. That would be the only negative. Was not crowded when I went in and had adequate seating on a weekday lunch.

The veggie burger was very good… the patty kinda reminded me of a beet latke. The fries are done to perfection, the skinny style isn’t my favorite, but good execution beats style preference every time!

Honestly, the burger was really good, but it’s weird that they don’t have lettuce… Like at all… and the prices are a little outrageous. But it is downtown. And it’s a nice spot to grab a burger on the go or sit really quick before going to an event. The chairs outside are tiny AF and metal so, big bootied people will not be comfortable. The bourbon sweet tea is fantastic but watered down as expected. I’d stop by again and grab a sweet tea since they are in the BullPen where you can take alcohol to go.

I would first like to say I gave this place 5 stars on the food that they have. That doesn’t mean I don’t think they should add a few things to put on the burger. I might miss one but my options were cheese, pickle, onion and sauce. That’s it. That’s pretty good if you’re not a hamburger place. Just my opinion maybe some lettuce, tomato, bacon and mayonnaise.

Burger was delish although they don’t have any of the regular toppings for a burger, fries were nice and fresh. Will definitely be back just for the service alone. Was pretty empty when I went so very quiet and chill.
