Everything was so good, and we ordered a lot. The brisket balls were special balls of my favorite meat, so good! The fried chicken and gravy was so tasty you’ll be missing put if you don’t try it!! The redneck lasagna amd Brunswick stew was simply incredible and the steak easily beat most steakhouses. I’m happy to find a place that isn’t compromising flavor or food quality in these inflationary times, we will definitely be back!!

Dining experience at Queenie’s was truly exceptional! Starters – Smoked Shrimp and Smoked Salmon dip with grilled ciabatta set the tone for a delightful meal. complimentary house biscuits paid an attention to those little details that make a difference.

Absolutely amazing food and service! Our first visit was a month ago and we have returned 4 times already. It’s that good! And being able to make a reservation is a great option.

I got fried chicken with mac n cheese and the cauliflower. Cauliflower was mixed with interesting sauce unsure how i felt about it…. wouldnt get that side again. But the chicken was super yummy!

Tried Queenie’s for the first time on our anniversary! We LOVED it! The fried chicken was so crunchy and flavorful. The biscuits were perfection— like cast iron yumminess! My husband loved the rainbow trout and the grits with the pork belly! Our waiter, Billy, was attentive and gave great recommendations.

We came here around 8pm on a Saturday. There was no wait for a table, however there was a long wait for our service. Our server showed up with a very sloppy attire, old faded jeans with an oversized flannel shirt, very sloppy looking. We started off with the smoked briskit and cheddar fritters and they were good. We ordered a steak and mashed potatoes which the steak was okay, a bit tough and the mashed potatoes were room temp. Also ordered a ribeye medium, which came well done and cold and brunswick stew. The brunswick stew was barely room temp as well. We tried to wait for our server to return to get the food reheated, however the wait was too long and we just ate the food cold. We will not be returning. Very sad, I came here before, years ago and it was delicious, it appears the food quality has gone down hill.

This is only the second time I have left a restaurant review, but I thought these folks deserve one. There are several things that make this restaurant standout, excellent food quality, dish/meal presentation is often unique, the staff is friendly and attentive (you can tell the main chef cares), good variety of menu items (I have tried the trout) and each veggie item I have tried has been delicious and 2 thumbs up on the biscuits and cornbread. Prices are a bit high, but reasonable compared to other places in town, especially when you consider the overall high quality of the meals. We have been twice and plan on going back soon.

Dinner was just average. Ordered an $8 banana pudding to go and very disappointed to receive one inch of pudding with the rest whipped topping. I took a photo because who would believe it otherwise.

Good food, great place. Service was a little disappointing, but we had a large group, so I’d definitely try it again.
