A great brunch experience, even if you’re only doing takeout. It pays off to go early if you want to dine in. Juicy, flavorful food, and beautiful presentation. If it’s your first time like it was for me and you’re a foodie, just splurge at order The Throne. You won’t regret it.

Here we go again with another Blk owned business with subpar service and mediocre food. I drove 40 minutes to try their food after googling some Restaurant’s in the Bridgeport area. I walked into this established only to feel like it was a Covid clinic. Not clean at all. They have children working so everything moves slow when it should move fast.

I’m 22, and this was the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Presentation alone was extremely pleasing; food was really good too, I had the red velvet waffles and friend chicken. The staff made great conversation too.

O…M…G… Food and presentation is excellent. Queen’s Supreme Fried Chkn Sandwich is PHENOMENAL‼️BUT the service, two thumbs down. My family for three sat at table for almost 2HOURS to be served. The dining area wasn’t busy. We did notice takeout was their priority because customers were in and out fast. While we sat, and sat, and sat. SMH.

We waited over one hour for our food while dining in. It seems as though take out orders were the priority. Shrimp and grits were good. Biscuit is store bought and drenched in honey.

When I first walked up to the restaurant, I wasn’t sure if I was at the right place. When I walked in, I was skeptical, but I stayed because I heard the food was delicious. They were not wrong and the food was delicious. I had the fried catfish, shrimp and grits, and a side of red velvet waffle. I was stuffed. These grits were the creamiest and well seasoned, I’ve ever had. The staff was great too. They also serve the best fresh lemonade with fresh strawberries and mango.

Very Small Eating Area….Food Was So So, Aside From The Fish & Grits Which Was Really Good. Chicken Was Half & Half/SoSo…I Don’t know why Some Of These Places Think Everyone & Or Black Folks want Their Chicken Fried Hard…Crispy, Yes, Hard No…Also, If u like Hairy chicken With Feathers on them, Yes FEATHERS, Then This is The Place for You…Shows A lot about their Cleaning Process…Also, The middle of the day, & No Mac & Cheese….Owner Seems to Pick & Choose. What to Make, & When to Make it Which is Cool, but When you Call & an Employee Says They Have Everything, that’s What you Expect…We Ordered one Other Thing, & They Took the Order, then Waited till The Food Came Out to Tell Us They Couldn’t Do it The Way We ordered…Why Not Say that from the very beginning, & Let us have the Choice on what to do…Not just make a Decision for Us…The Strawberry lemonade Was Good, My Peoples Said The Red Velvet Waffle Was Good As Well. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Bridgeport right now and the food is always made to order, so you’ll get it fresh. The specials are so creative and delicious. My personal fav is Soul Food Fridays and the Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast. I always look forward to eating here

The presentation of food was excellent but looks can be deceiving. It was hot! The long wait to be seated and even longer wait to receive our food was NOT worth our time! They forgot to bring my food out, and by the time the waiter came to check on us, everyone was just about finishing up their meal. He asked ” so how’s everything?” I responded I wouldn’t know because I still don’t have my food! He apologized and asked what I ordered and I told him it didn’t matter because I lost my appetite and didn’t want it anymore, my family is already done eating! Just typing this review is making me mad all over again!!! He comes out with my food as wiping my daughter’s mouth to leave. My husband insist that I sit and eat because I haven’t eaten all day and was not impressed. They offered me a free lemonade to go for the inconvenience……
