Great food. Nice people. I showed up after the restaurant closed. I asked them what time it closed they said 6. It was 7 so I asked if they sold carne asada and they said no. But the lady was so kind she made me dinner even though they where closed. Super nice. I will be back when I am in town

It was kind of cold inside. But nothing extreme. The food is always great. Thanks for the cook.

I absolutely love their pupusas. They are very authentic, I have been eating them for 15 years & refuse to eat them anywhere else.

Don’t let the area or appearance deter you. Some of the best Guatemala food I’ve had not only in the state but period. If you want authentic an authentic, homemade meal this is the place.

Always sweet people who greet you with a smile. Private orders for Guatemalan Tamales. They are on point! Not many out there serving food from my culture so I’m thankful for them

Unfortunately the food isn’t that good, I ordered some pupusas and they weren’t fresh and they were ok but not great. The restaurant looks old and dirty, boxes everywhere and it’s not a pleasant place, I still need to try the guatemalan food and see if that’s better than the pupusas.

I WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE EVER IN MY LIFE!!!! I CAME IN TO GET A QUICK REFRESHMENT ON MY WAY TO WORK. I ASKED THE OLDER LADDY A FEW QUESTIONS ABOUT THERE PRICING AS THERE IS NO PRICING ANYWHERE IN THE STORE. BAD ENOUGH THERE IS NO A/C IN THE STORE. SHE WAS SUPER RUDE WHEN ANSWERING MY QUESTIONS. I WAS GOING TO PAY WITH CARD WHEN SHE RUDELY TOOK MY REFRESHMENT AND SAID 5 DOLLAR MINIMUM CANT U READ. ITS NOT MY FAULT THERE BUSINESS ISNT STRIVING ENOUGH TO BE ABLE TO ATTEND THERE CUSTOMERS FORM OF PAYMENT WITHOUT THEM TRYING TO OVER CHARGE U. I WOULD RATE THEM NO STARS IF I COULD. I DO NOT RECOMEND ANYONE TO WASTE THERE TIME OR MONEY HERE!!

This family run Bodega/Bistro is conveniently located in the downtown area of Salt Lake making it a walking or biking stop worth the experience. The TRAX and Front Runner transit station is approximately 3 blocks south-east. Otherwise, North Temple drops you onto 6th West just 5 blocks North of the Gateway Mall area.
