This is one of the few remaining places where you can get some good affordable food in uptown Oakland! The food is made fresh so there is a brief 10 minute wait, but that’s nothing when you get assurance that your food is fresh!! The chicken is seasoned good and the catfish was seasoned good too and fresh. All the sides were good too – this place isn’t talked about enough! If you’re looking for a quick, affordable, yet tasty meal, do not hesitate to buy from here!

It’s a hole in the wall, with one fantastic woman working in there. She does not cook your food until after you order it, so it is hot and fresh. Whole Fried chicken wings, fried catfish, talapia, red snapper, etc. is all on the menu. They also have banana pudding, several cakes, and a multitude of drinks. I worked in Oakland for two week assignment, and ate they every day! Yes, I was hooked. Go!!
