If you are visiting Devils Tower, make R-Deli a part of your trip! They have amazing legit NY/NJ style subs and thin crust pizza. The subs are perfectly constructed – the meats and cheeses are sliced really thin (those from NY/NJ area know what that means) and perfectly stacked. I had The Godfather with a variety of Italian meats and that touch of olive oil and vinegar that makes it oh so good. They have a great selection of different kinds of sandwiches. I don’t think you could go wrong with any of them!

The area around Devils Tower does not have many options when it comes to food or lodging. We ended up choosing the hotel that is across the street from this cute little shop. Almost a week into our family road trip, we were all feeling a bit sick of fast food and burgers. So, I was excited to see it this counter service restaurant had awesome reviews, and had some fresher options with their sandwiches.

We stopped here after leaving Devils Tower. After my wife parked in front of the restaurant illegally, one of the people working here was nice enough to advise us that the town cops do strictly enforce parking violations. The sandwiches were huge and tasty.

Great gem in a barren spot of the country en route to Devil’s Tower. Fantastic sandwiches and super friendly people. Fresh bread, freshly sliced meats and great flavor all around. Dog friendly patio as well.

The owners and workers have so much personality! We had a good time and laughs as we enjoyed the best sandwiches we’ve had in 20 years! Highly recommend The Godfather and the Horseshoe for sandwiches and the potato salad for a side!
