We were at R Diner around 3:30 on a Friday. We were told to sit wherever we wanted. The server came right over for our drink orders. I asked if there were any specials, and she said not until 4:00. I had the open faced hot turkey sandwich with fries and gravy. It was hot and tasty, but skimpy on the turkey. My husband had the Reuben, half the corned beef was tough. The rest of the sandwich was good. I found out, after we ate, that it was fish Friday. Nothing about this on the menu and we were not told by our server.

The food was absolutely great; based on food alone I would give it 5 stars. For 2 adults and a 5 year old it was $50 before tax. Our sons side of broccoli was $3, so all the little up-charges added up. Great service though and awesome food.

I ate here with my friends over the weekend for the first time and had a great experience overall. The omelettes and corned beef hash we had were all great, with the hash browns being an added bonus. The service was attentive helpful with any questions we had, and the atmosphere was a typical diner atmosphere. I would definitely be back!
