A fabulous dining experience. The food was the best and most flavorful I have ever eaten. I started with the flavorful Cider Poached Beets, enjoyed the Braised Beef Short Rib as the main and for dessert savored the Chocolate. The service was top notch by Andrea as she explained each dish in detail. There were also several extra surprises from the kitchen. I highly recommend to those who enjoy the finest in dining. Whenever we are in Des Moines, this will always be our first choice.

Wow. Our dinner and experience was delightful. From the knowledgeable servers who provided thorough descriptions of what we were eating ( including how to best consume) to the thoughtfully constructed, well-executed courses, we loved every course. The scallops were perfect and the short rib was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. At the risk of being overly fawning: service, drinks, appetizers, mains, desserts—all A+. We’ll be back. Soon.

We decided to try a new restaurant for a nice fine dining experience. We were blown away by the little surprises like a “gift from the kirchen” shortly after sitting down. The sweet corn starter was amazing and just the right amount of sweet and little lime bubbles for a tart to balance. The main course I chose was scallops with farrow porridge and roasted cauliflower and was simply exquisite. MUST TRY!!

A Diamond in the ruff! Truly a culinary experience. The 5 course chefs choice (albeit pricey) is delicious and well worth it. Been there twice now and both times delicious. Des Moines needs more places like this. Highly recommend.
