If you want an amazing dining experience you have to try R Kitchen! It’s a communal dining for 15-20 people with a daily custom 5 course menu! I think 2 seatings per night, 6 and 8pm. The food was unreal, but it was more than the taste, presentation and creativity of each plate, it was intimate and involved with the 3 chefs. It felt like a dinner party at a friends house who happens to be a culinary genius! They can accommodate food allergies, but the menu is for everyone and so go trust the pros to make you incredible food, you won’t be disappointed!

Let me start by saying this was by far one of the coolest dining experiences of my life. In my to 5 dining experiences for sure. The chefs were amazing. It quite literally watching artists at work. My favorite course was surprisingly the very first which was a tomato bisque and grilled cheese which is crazy because I’m normally not a big fan of tomato soup at all but it was bright with acidity while warm and rich and smooth and unpretentious. There were some pretty rude and abrasive customers there tonight but Chris and Linzy handled it tastefully and respectfully. Overall great environment, service and food.

Absolutely spectacular- we went in for brunch on last Sunday! I can’t speak highly enough about this place, wish I could give it 10 stars, the menu was incredible the day we went and everybody working was so nice! I did forget the noodle course but the other four are pictured below! (Fair warning they prefer Venmo for their method of payment)

The best tasting food and dinner setting in all of Charleston. The chefs are very accommodating for any allergies or if you can’t eat a certain food. We don’t eat pork and the chefs were happy to plate us fish instead. The pricing is great because you get 5 courses. They’re the perfect size and you get to try new flavors and ingredients that you’ve never had before. I recommend this place to everyone and I would I would go everyday if I could!

I went here with friends without really knowing what to expect. It was amazing. The staff and chefs were friendly, the food was so created and tasted divine! It was a 5 course meal with a soup, salad, 2 meat entrees and a dessert. The perfect portions. I ate everything and left feeling full but not stuffed. The location had plenty of parking (rare in Charleston). You got to watch the chefs plate everything. They told you all about what you were eating and would chat with guests in between courses. I felt $65 was more than reasonable for what I received. Would absolutely go back!
