Ambiance: It’s kind of tucked away in the shopping center, a decent sized place with a good amount of seating both inside and out. We ended up sitting outside because we had a dog, but it was fairly quiet and relaxing.

The food is good but definitely NOT worth the wait. I’ve been a few times, and unfortunately they always take a long time to prepare the food. Today is the last time I support this establishment. Over 30 minutes for a simple breakfast sandwich with overcooked eggs & undercooked hash brown; how do you justify this? I purposely did not order the other sandwich I wanted because I knew it would take even longer to get. Please respect your patrons’ time.

We came here on a Sunday morning and it immediately felt welcoming. Service was friendly and ambiance was warm and homey. I loved their Cajun Alfredo & grits and the ultimate breakfast sandwich. My partner was craving pancakes and he absolutely loved how fluffy they were. The veggie omelette and mini honey fried chicken biscuits were pretty good too. We spent a bill including tip. Overall, R and R is a solid breakfast/brunch spot if you’re craving southern style comfort food. I would l come back.

Based on the avocado toast I had, I’d say this place would get 1 star. It had merely a smear of avocado. All I could taste was the stewed tomatoes on it. Terrible! BUT, my husband’s dish was excellent. His potatoes were some of the best I’ve ever had.

The shrimp and grits are to die for. I wasn’t crazy about the waffles because they were soft and I like mine crispy but that’s a personal preference, the taste was good. The fried fish and chicken wings were seasoned and cooked perfectly. And the watermelon, cucumber lemonade was so delicious. The prices are a bit high. Our bill was $175 for 5 people. They do offer daily specials that are lower priced so the next time we go, we will definitely consider those. Overall we were very pleased with the food and the service. The owner is a sweetheart and Mark was a lot of fun.
