It’s been a while since I’ve had Jamaican food and this place was great! I got the stewed chicken with rice and beans and vegetables and plantains on the side. The food had a lot of flavor, I loved the hint of coconut in the rice and beans. The person who served me was very kind and patient. I also got a beef patty and that was really good! t was a decent size portion with the patty for $20. Would love to go back and try some of their other dishes!

Drove over and hour and was not let down one bit! Best Jamaican food in new england hands down along with amazing service and atmosphere!!! Jerk chicken was incredible as was everything else! Was so good had to get 2 extra plates to go!!! Thanks again i’ll be back for sure!!!

My best friend and I drove all most 2 hours to try this restaurant because the reviews were so good! We both got oxtails – I got rice and peas. she got white rice… THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!!!!!! Some of the best Jamaican food I’ve ever had! Very flavorful, not salty, portion size was large. I also tried the homemade mango passion and it was sooooooo good! And the service we got was the cherry on top! The owner is so nice and sweet. No need to try any other Jamaican restaurants in the Boston area – this is my new spot! HIGHLY recommend! I will be coming back.

I and my wife tried this place after seeing great reviews and we drove from Brookline just for this. This place is really extraordinary, nice cute little restaurant. We purchased the goat curry and jerk pork, it was extremely fabulous. The meat was cooked to perfection and sauce with rice and beans taste was so good and great spice level. Their customer service was excellent and the lady was so kind and friendly. She welcomed us after hearing we are first time customers. The passion mango fruit juice was so good that we finished in the car before we started driving. Will definitely visit again and will refer this place to our friends.

Tempted by high reviews and a desire for Jamaican jerk seasoning I headed down to Roslindale to try out this well loved establishment and I was not disappointed. The food was very spicy and flavorful, and even now after just having had it only a few hours ago I feel a desire to dig into my fridge for a few more bites of the Jerk Chicken. I recommend the Bammy which is a delicious deep fried Yucca and the Jamaican ginger beer which was nice and strong. Help support this wonderful local business which is so clearly run by hard working and charming people so that they can buy themselves a big air conditioner for when they are serving up flaming hot Jamaican food all summer long!

Took my son here recently. Small hideaway place. Wonderful splash of color. The owners were very friendly and helpful. My son was thrilled with the amount of food and the way the place smelled. He devoured the jerk chicken with constant comments about how tender and tasty all the food was. We will be going back and following them to food festivals. If you haven’t eaten here… run and get it!!!

Amazing Jamaican food. The oxtail had meat just melting out of the bone and the spicy curry shrimp had excellent seasoning and the right amount of kick. Rice and sides were cooked to perfection. And the juices were super flavorful (we tried the ginger pineapple which was on point).
