First time ordering from here. I ordered a salad with balsamic dressing. The dressing is just red vinegar. I also ordered fries they gave me cheese fries. I’m lactose. So that was a waste. No napkins. No fork for my halal platter. I was pretty disappointed being I live aways away.

Love the owner and his service and love this pizza – the pizza is always very well-made and follow the directions you give them. The size the pizza is quite large for the cost, and it is worth every penny. The owner is kind and caring, even to the drink crowd, which is expected given his location and hours, but few have his kindness and patience. This is our go to pizza place, especially there a penne à la vodka pie – let’s note that this guy always goes out to make you what you want. Thanks dude – hope to eat here again.

Another review for a Rutgers Pizzeria. This location is on Easton Avenue near Old Queens and the Scarlet Night Club. It’s a tight little pizzeria with not much room for sitting in and eating. The slices remind me of frozen pizza I’ve eaten. The crust doesn’t even seem like it should belong to a pizza. It’s bready and like cardboard. The plain slice was totally unremarkable and lacked both flavor and sauce in general, practically. The chicken caesar slice only reminded me why I have never tried that combination before… IT DOESN’T WORK. The dressing tasted funny and I doubt I would have even enjoyed it on a salad. I couldn’t even finish the slice. Clearly my fault for thinking this was a good idea. Overally, I’m honestly surprised this place is still in business considering the competition in New Brunswick. In conclusion, you can buy better pizza in the frozen isle at shopright.

The owner of this business alone makes me want to give this place 10 stars! Such a sweetheart, super down to earth. And the pizza is pretty good. My favorite is the margarita slice. It also feels very homey because there’s various pictures of RU students all up on the wall. That’s what makes RU grill more superior then the other dozen of pizza places in New Brunswick.

Do not use RU Grill, and Ali the owner, to do any catering orders.

Great service. Kind and attentive. We got the pepperoni and veggies, really good we like the crust. We also got the chicken bacon ranch but not my favorite

I ordered the vegan pizza although it wasn’t bad all it was, was a plain pie with vegan cheese. I should have asked what came and constitutes it being a vegan pie. I wish it had veggies with it. At the very least next time I’ll bring it up and see what it would cost to my accommodations

Solid food, their fat sandwiches are great. Expensive though, will run you about $10 each. They take some time to come out, but they’re made fresh which is nice.
