Yes, Raaga is more expensive than other Indian restaurants in the area but I truly believe you get what you pay for. We popped in for lunch on a Friday and took full advantage of their express lunch menu. You get an appetizer, main entrée, side, rice, naan, and dessert. My husband and I ordered different items to share and ended up having a delicious little buffet of sorts. The flavors here are wonderful with food cooked to perfection. The more I eat here the more I realize I don’t want to get Indian food anywhere else. Raaga isn’t the best Indian I’ve had but the atmosphere coupled with great service and flavorful menu items keeps me coming back. Now that I have tried several dishes on their menu I have to go ahead and up my rating.

Pretty good lunch buffet for $12.90 (as of Winter, 2017). Good food at good prices. The naan is fantastic and I’ve always found the service to be great.

My family and I held my brother and his fiancee’s engagement dinner at Raaga on New Years Eve over the weekend. For the past few weeks I had been working with the owner, Hemini Patel, in order to choose a menu and plan out details for the night. She was fantastic to work with and truly cared about giving us the best quality experience! We were thoroughly impressed with everything from the quality/taste of the food, the decor, as well as the customer service we received. Although they were already very busy because of the holiday weekend, they were still able to accommodate every one of our large groups needs. I never found myself asking the servers for water or where each dish we ordered was, because everything was brought out promptly and efficiently! My family and I are very happy with our experience at Raaga and will be back time and time again!

It was a mix of great and not-so-great. The food was good, exceptional appetizer (crisp cauliflower) and great entrees. However, the bread (naan) was mediocre (dried basil topping?). The service was solicitous, but the order of hot tea came with an half-full basket of bags, none of which was black tea, and it took so long for replacement that my dinner mate went to another table to get some.

I really like the food and the location is super convenient. It’s also pretty impressive that the manager has responded to every piece of feedback on here. Very attentive. I prefer getting takeout, as the last couple of times I’ve sat down, the service has been a little on the slow side. I’m normally pretty patient, but the last time, my party was the only table seated and our drinks still took an awful long time to get to us. It wasn’t so inconvenient that I wouldn’t return, however.

Without a doubt, it’s the best Indian food we’ve found in the Triangle NC area. We’ve visited twice. The food and service are wonderful, and we were able to get a table without a wait, during a time we thought it would be busy. I think that’s because while lots of Indian immigrants seem to have discovered Raaga, other locals haven’t found it yet.

Not worth the steep prices they keep for entrees. There are cheaper and better options available. The $25 entree didn’t suffice for two people. The quantity they serve is not what you expect for such prices. We were left asking for more and were not satisfied like we feel after a full course meal.

If you want a fancy, expensive way to satiate your limp, wrinkly liberal desire for cultural diversity (but not too much, I didn’t see any Indian people working there), this place is tops. The food is definitely not worth the price, tastes a bit like Amy’s frozen food (same flavor profile at any rate). Probably the worst, most bland Indian food in the area. Seriously, it’s… the blandest Indian food I’ve ever had. It just doesn’t have that pungent depth that good Indian food has – but if you’re the kind of person that thinks black pepper is spicy, maybe this is the place for you. Go to Guru if you want true flavor, or Cholanad if you want something fancy – don’t go to Raaga! Two stars because the service and atmosphere were fine, and the food was at least edible – but the prices are insane!

We drive over an hour and a half to come eat at Raaga! The food is phenomenal! We have never tried anything that we didn’t love. Tyler was an excellent server and Mrs. Patel, the owner was very gracious and attentive. We will be back soon!

Just left Raaga. Started with 2 servers who we never saw again. When our order was taken by the bartender we were never asked about our spice preferences which we are accustomed to at Indian restaurants.
