My husband and I stopped in for lunch, first time here. Food was fabulous! I had the pulled chicken salad with tangy BBQ sauce and ranch. My husband had ribs with spicy sauce. Portions were huge! Will definitely be back!!

My wife and I ate here last night after a nice walk down Hazel Dell. Friendly service and the food was brought out in short order. I have to say that the loaded fries were the real star of the meal and can be readily customized with a variety of meat and topping options. My main was the brisket sandwich very filling but a bit on the dry side but towards the end of the day I wasn’t expecting something right out of the smoker. Very pleased with the overall experience.

Excellent excellent BBQ. Had the pulled pork and it was perfection and I do not say that often. I rate it with Big Bob Gibson’s in Decatur, Al. The beans, coleslaw, and cornbread were also good. The service was friendly and also excellent. I will be back.

We were in this place for the first time. We ordered Brisket platter with fries and Mac & cheese, Ribs & pulled pork platter, and chicken platter with two beers. There is a few things I was really disappointed are none of their meats smelled smoked. I even asked the owner why his meats don’t smell smoked. He said he doesn’t know. I didn’t see any smoked rings on the my brisket either. The reason is either the fat layer is too thick or not enough smoking time. And the corn bread they served is so tiny, I could eat one bite without any help of drink. Also their bbq sauces are not good enough of their description, mild, spicy and tangy and are served in 2 ounces containers. I hope they should try harder to prosper for long time. The only reason the neighbors go to this place is no other BBQ places nearby.

I love BBQ so when I heard about this place I just had to check it out. Their relational service is excellent and their food is just as wonderful. When I cut into the ribs, the meat simply fell off the bone and the meat was flavorful and tender. The beef brisket was also excellent. Of the 5 sides I tried, I would highly recommend the fries, green beans, and coleslaw. Their homemade cornbread was delicious and fresh.
