I got the lunch special with a beef and cheese piroscki and fried squid. It was worth the $8. I found the piroscki and squid to be good but a bit heavy for my taste. For me the real kicker was the salad. It was spring mix like you’d buy in bulk at Costco or Sam’s Club, but the vinaigrette it came with it was what did it for me. If Rada’s sold their vinaigrette by the pint, I would buy it.

Rada’s Piroscki is located on Front Street Mall. You order from the window. Prices are reasonable. I ate one of each (beef w/mushrooms, beef w/cabbage and chicken w/mushrooms). The best way to describe it would be a deep fried manapua filled with beef or chicken. I like it and it wasn’t as greasy as I thought it would be. I’ll have to try the fried squid next time.

This cute Filipino eatery keeping Rada’s dream going. Been eating this Lunch special as a occasional treat for 2 decades. The Calamari, Beef/Cabbage, & penance Salad for the win.

awesome quick bite on the move in between classes. that was way back in 1997. the previous store was across Fort Street Mall from where the current one is located. brought back nostalgic memories. i could even remember the taste of Piroscki now. nice and comforting especially on a wet and cold morning. glad to see that Rada’s is still around and doing well.

This was a interesting find in the heart of Downtown Honolulu. It isn’t everyday that you find Eastern European food in a Filipino restaurant. This simple and cheap grab and go gut buster Piroscki shop was fairly decent.

A hole in the wall, window service for peroshki and fried squid. 3 varieties of peroshki at a reasonable price that will fill you up.

Hi
This was quite good. I went here often during lunch while I was at school. I thought it was Polish, I didn’t realize Pilipino people also eat piroshkis. The Pilipino version is a bit more greasy, but still good, and the prices were good.
