This place is MAGIC!!!! IT’S REAL FOOD!!!!! It’s not fancy… but the service is friendly and welcoming and the food is made with LOVE!!!! This was exactly the home cooked meal we craved tonight! And the Scotch Eggs were out of this world! Every bite of everything was simply perfect! We thank you for putting so much love and care into you real food!!!!! Such an excellent dinner!!!

Wonderful place and we really enjoyed our visit. Her steak was perfect flavor and texture. My catfish was fried just right in a corn meal coating. This is great local fare with generous portions at a nice price. Our server was very helpful. Don’t miss the blackberry cobbler if they have it when you come.

Over an hour to get breakfast then it came out Cold, eggs were not cooked fully, dirty tables when we walked in and the floors were terribly dirty. The food has never tasted so horrible, no flavor. We definitely will never be back. Also assuming the wonderful cook from last year is no longer there.

I love this place. The food is amazing. Everything is home made good old down home country food. You can’t go wrong with anything you order. And the desert’s are to die for all made from scratch and OMG… I have been tempted to start with desert first and work my way backwards to my main course many times…

The hotel suggested this for our dinner. Notbreally as impressed as they were. I’ve had way better BBQ and baked beans. Beans need some zip. BBQ was soggy and lots of fat in it. Corn pudding was good.

The service was missing. We received our drinks but waitress disappeared. 45 minutes later, still no food or waitress. We sat in the Sports bar side with no bartender present. My husband walked into the restaurant side to see three waitresses eating salads. He asked our w about our food because we had 15 minutes before we had to be somewhere. She stated that our orders were late due to the two large groups. Our order: bbq, mashed potatoes, baked beans, poutine and bbq sandwich with slaw.

Service was terrible..my steak sub was just ok. Macaroni salad was good. My sons brisket sandwich was terrible! Tough and full of fat. Some elderly regular customers talked the entire time about the military and how worthless kids are today. I had to hunt the server down for our check. Never came to check on us. My son left starving. If you aren’t a regular you are obviously overlooked and forgotten about. If I were a thief with no conscience we could have walked out without paying.

We were passing through here and seen this cute place. Love the railroad theme. The people were so sweet and the food was delicious. If we’re ever back this way we will definitely visit again. Check out the bathroom. Super cute and clean!
