Great stop on the way through. Service was wonderful with very polite staff! The jalapeno poppers and Mac n chz bites were both delicious. Loved that the poppers weren’t fried! Clam chowder was the most unique I’ve had. Definitely stands out as an atypical chowder and really delicious. I haven’t had a BLT in a while and this definitely fulfilled my craving. The whistlestop burger was flavorful and highlighted with a fried green tomato.

Best place in town, hands down. We are frequent guests because the food and service, and friendly atmosphere keeps us coming back again and again. I highly recommend the daily specials and the home made soups. The Tuesday fish tacos are the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a few!

We visited for an early dinner following the Gridley model train show Saturday. Friendly service, excellent food, clean bathrooms, sports on multiple screens. Each member of our party fully enjoyed the overall experience. I’ve visited this place 4 times now. Always enjoyable.

Was looking for,an alternative to driving to Chico for a decent meal. What a hidden treasure the Railhouse is!. Staff welcoming,attentive,and fast. Clean and comfortable. Sporty but homey at the same time. Most importantly the food was excellent,fresh and hot,when it was served..Will be returning here again and again

Very friendly service. Drinks were ice cold. Food was good and reasonably priced. Lunch only took maybe 10 minutes from order to table. I will definitely go back.

The staff was all so sweet and bubbly. They apologized for the wait time on the food due to a lunch rush, but it still came out fast compared to other restaurants. The fried green tomatoes were suprisingly good, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. Definitely recommend
