I was excited to try this place as it was highly recommended. But save your money and time this place is so not worth it, spent almost $100 for this, customer service don’t exist at all. There was hardly any egusi in this soup , it was all collard greens and lots of onions, asked for goat meat but got beef even after I complained it was over looked. If I could give a 0 star I would, but take it from me spare yourself from this nightmare. Highly disappointed ☹️ is an understatement.

We drive all the way from Baltimore to visit our favorite Ghanaian restaurant. They never disappoint. The gentleman at the front desk provided superb customer service. He was extremely friendly. I got the tuo zaafi and jollof rice with beef stew. The entrees were delicious BUT the showstopper were the beef meat pie and puff puff. They were delicious! I’ve visited other Ghanaian/African restaurants, but Rainbiw remains top tier!

I was very disappointed ☹️ with the presentation of the food. I use to go there for lunch when I was in MD, especially when they first open until I moved. I paid $24.32 for this!!!! Twice of how much it used to cost, which is not the problem. Three pieces of Frozen fish, half cook plaintain that I had to refried, etc. I was so excited to stop by because I was in the area but never again!!! What happened to the whole fish and better presentation. Consistency and presentation is everything.

I got take-out to serve a rather traditional Ghanaian dinner–jollof with chicken, kelewele–for a small group of non-Ghanaians. The portions are super generous, and the food was delicious; everyone loved it. The level of spiciness was just right (tho they sell jars of shito sauce for those who like it hot!), and the people there were friendly and very helpful. I’ll be back!

The flavor of the food is on point but, I had ordered fish, thinking it would be a whole fish. Come to find out, it was a whole bunch of fish tails…? That was like very off putting and If I would have known it was fish tails instead of a whole fish, I would have ordered something else.

I was a little skeptical to try this place, since it has a lot of bad reviews, especially for customer service.

The rice was definitely old and tasted like it had been reheated or something, very dry. The turkey in the greens was also so dry I felt like I was eating someone’s leftovers. I wanted to like it but definitely look else where if you want an enjoyable meal.

I like their fish and meat pies. They’ve improved on their bofrot (doughnut). It tasted better. I also realised their customer services has improved too.
