Took about an hour, which was to be expected on the first day. It was heavily guided by parking lot attendants and security, but I’m not sure how they’re gonna maintain a safe parking lot flow beyond opening week. Only time will tell.

The line was long inside but it moves fast, they have an app and suggest ordering online which seems to be the way to go! It didn’t take long to receive my food once I moved from paid to waiting. The tenders were moist and juicy and the crunchy outside made it perfect with a splash of canes sauce. Not a big fan of the shoestring meets crinkle cut fries but they were okay just skinny! All in all good value for a decent meal and the tenders were very good!

It was good, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to get it again. The cane sauce was just okay and it costs extra to get anymore than a little container. The tenders came out hot and I definitely prefer them over chick-fil-a. The fries were good as well, but I wish they had a little more seasoning.

So this popular chicken finger spot has debuted in the Washington D.C. area in recent months. I finally got an opportunity to to go try them out. Have you ever had Raising Cane’s before? I haven’t…LET’S GO!!

I’m not sure if it’s a novelty because it’s new and everyone wants to try it or if they really get repeat customers? I don’t see myself as a repeat customer. Here’s why: for $12.07 I got 4 tenders, fries, coleslaw, a piece of bread (which was the best thing of the whole meal) and a very small cup of sauce. Chicken tenders were on the small side and lacked any flavor at all without dipping them in their special sauce. And while the sauce is okay, you only get about 2 tablespoons and if you need more it’s like $0.39 for more?? The fries were tasteless, absolutely tasteless and there isn’t enough sauce to dip them. The coleslaw was meh. The bread was fabulous (but not $12 fabulous). There was very polite employee who called me “honey”, which didn’t bother me, the young man who called out when your order was ready was the friendliest and only employee who I saw hustling and smiling. Wish I would have gotten his name. The cashier looked like she wasn’t so happy to be there…

Food is mid long line had me gassed up thought it was good because this looong line. 4 out of 10. Coleslaw is weaker than my grandma knees and she ain’t living. Chicken fresh but not enough flavor and no bbq sauce. The sauce is not that great. Everything needed to be more seasoned This is good if you drunk. Also sodas taste off brand kind of deal. Root beer tasted like diet and the coke tasted like a watered down Pepsi.

Went to Cane’s today. My food was hot, well seasoned and took me less than 15 mins to walk in and out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I’ve had Cane’s before , it did not disappoint. 10/10. I don’t care for coleslaw so I didn’t try it. Y’all gotta give it a chance to work out the kinks of opening a new restaurant.

Just opened up and I must say that it’s really good. They talk about the sauce which is good but you don’t need it. Service was friendly and quick. Drive through was crazy so I dined in.
