Funny before you start writing your review it says give your detailed experience well I wont get an experience cause i called on Sunday July 1st 2023 at 1:00 pm an whoever answered the phone answered like not a business but a regular hello like it’s his personal phone or something all I wanted to know was would they be open for the 4th of July an he said they only open to students. Not surprized though cause I’ve past by this student only business several times while on the university an if you not looking hard you wouldnt know it was a Raising Cane’s, sign is not lit or nothing just unnoticeable writing on the glass plus it’s no parking anyway if someone other than someone walking did wanna eat there. Didnt know it was just for students though but ok good job. Tuscaloosa full of chicken spots anyway just was wanting to try this cause my daughter told me we had one or my bad “they” have one. I give it this a rating of “U” for unknown or should it be a “C” for cant get none. Since I’ve only had a phone call experience I’ll rate that at 0

I’ve eaten at this Cane’s before and it’s usually good. This time the chicken had absolutely no seasoning and the fries had no salt. Overall a bad experience for the price.

Disappointed it’s only for the campus. Called to make sure before heading there and was told it’s for students only. Moved from Louisiana so I was excited one was only an hour away. Should state on the page somewhere for students only. Just wanted to share my frustrations.

I’m disappointed because the chicken tenders were so big. I feel like they were injected by steroids. The chicken wasn’t cooked long enough. The chicken tenders had no flavor and it was overpriced at that. The chicken tenders have never been this awful. what did y’all do? Everything was good except the chicken tenders and this is what this place is known for.

Doesn’t accept cash. Mobile ordering app almost never works, they stop taking orders 3 hours before closing time, wait times are frequently measured in hours, the dining room has been closed for months for seemingly no reason (its the same room you get your food in, the dining room is just cordoned off), the staff are rude and pretty openly racist, and if you live off of a meal plan this is one of the few places you can get food (3 tenders per day, wow!)

Food is delicious, but almost impossible to order. There is a designated mobile ordering app, but the wait time often jumps by more than an hour and a half in between the time it takes me to start ordering and put in my order. Also, the hours are deceptive. It’s currently 6:30 pm, and their hours are until 9 pm. However, a wait time of 90 minutes will “exceed the hours of operation,” and you cannot place the order. Really sucks when you’re in college and hungry but you can’t order because 2.5 hours is too close to their closing time.

This is my favorite place to get chicken fingers. I recommend this over Zaxby’s. It’s kind of pricey depending on how much you eat. It’s in a dorm so of course it’s going to be crowded but they get your order taken fast. Sometimes, you wait a really long time for your food because it’s made fresh and hot so if you don’t have the time then i wouldn’t suggest going unless it isn’t very busy. Also, another slight inconvenience is that after 5 ,on the weekends for sure I don’t know about weekdays, you have to pay with a card they don’t accept cash. I personally use cash for everything so I have to get my mom’s card when I want to get something to eat. Then on Sunday they don’t accept cards at all. The fries are simple crinkle cut fries and they are so good. The chicken isn’t fried too hard and the sauce is AMAZING. The staff is very nice. I first had it in New Orleans but this one is awesome too!

Usually just soggy if it’s mobile order but it’s fine inside, not as good as stand alone Cane’s unless you go in the middle of a weekday when it’s not busy.

I forbid my daughter to spend another penny there, no matter how horrid the caf. Dining at UA is. Soggy Greasie, raw. NOT GOOD

An absolute staple of on campus dining, this place is one of the best chicken tender spots in town! The food comes out pretty quick, and it’s really great too! The only downsides are the weird hours, and the fact it can get really crowded around lunch. Aside from that, great place to stop and grab a bite
