Raising Cane’s is a chicken tender spot in the heart of Oxnard placed in The Rose shopping center. If you like chicken, this place is definitely worth trying out. The chicken is moist on the inside, yet still has a nice Crispy breading on the outside. The fries are crinkle cut, which tends to be some of my favorite variety of fry bar none. The Texas toast is superb. Warm, toasted, with a nice pillowy soft center. The sauce has a certain taste to it. Not too spicy, nor tangy. Yet you can’t help but use up every drop.

Oh, the sauce! After a disastrous visit to another hot chicken restaurant (in another one of my reviews), my son suggested trying here, and I was delighted. A very hip environment that serves excellent food with great customer service and oh the sauce!

For years now I have seen my friends post about going to a raising canes and how good the food is, how it’s worth the drive, how great the bread is. I thought it was all hype, but today I can confirm as I finally went to one that it was all true. It was just so good. I decided to eat inside as I didn’t want it to get soggy or cold by the time I got home. Best decision though, as the food was so fresh, with the soft tenders, fries, plus that bread, that the was the icing on the box combo I got. Definitely will come again, just wish it was closer to my area, but worth the drive if you’re planning on shopping around the outlets or visiting Camarillo.

Love this place, I always get the 3 finger box and it is the perfect a amount of food. The fries are just ok a little too salty but still good. The chicken stripes are amazing by them selves and also good dipped in the canes sauce. The Texas toast is my second favorite food thing that comes in the box. But I do not like the coleslaw personally it has to much dressing stuff on it. I would really recommend getting the sweet tea, it is so good and perfectly sweet. And the ice is my favorite crunchy ice. PLEASE GO HERE ITS SO GOOD!

Service was great friendly people but food wise was not the best. The chicken tasted like if it was out for a few hours, the fries were cold and hard to even chew on. The sauce was watery, and the coleslaw was very dry. Always enjoyed the food here but now don’t see myself coming here to this location.

The chicken sandwich is decent. I was very disappointed in the fact that their lemonade does not come with refills, and the cane sauce is an additional charge. Chick-fil-A is a better value.

Great staff, good food, and enjoyed by the whole family. Great outdoor dining areas. Park and walk in. The drive thru is an hour minimum. You can park, walk in, and get your family’s meal in under 20 minutes. And enjoy great music while they get your order ready!

I would have given it more stars but 5 was all they gave me to Express my satisfyingly tasty , absolutely delicious chicken and fries. Atmosphere felt like happy happy happy. The vibe there is pretty stinken wonderful. Never seen or heard of Canes in life but soooooooo glad we met. I urge everyone to go to Canes as soon as you can! My soul would have been troubled if I died without ever experiencing this eatery.

Super fast service, probably because they’re a training store. Long line, but short wait. Food was served very quickly. But way too loud for me. (I had a really hard time hearing the cashier over the blaring music.) I always choose to sit outside.
