Sanjay and Asha migrated to the United States of America in 2011. Having disappointing Indian Vegetarian Cuisine dining experiences and craving the Authentic Gujarati taste they were accustomed to decided that people from Indian origin should experience the true taste of Traditional Indian Vegetarian Gujarati Cuisine. Thus, they decided to open their own restaurant to provide this dining experience.

They have a vision to provide quality Indian Vegetarian Cuisine through the THALI EXPERIENCE – consisting of a wide variety of different dishes providing healthy and balanced nutrition, flavors, texture, and colors to create a complete meal. They envision and want to combine an experience of the five senses – Sight, Smell, Sound, Touch, and T

I am Gujarati and was very glad to eat at a place where they good Gujarati thali right in my back yard. The food tasted excellent, quality of the food was also very good. The only thing that I didn’t like is that Rajwadi will start serving buffet in two weeks.

The wait is insane. I went on the weekend and after ordering, we had to wait for more than 30 mins for the food. There was literally no space between our table and the others. We could overhear everyone.

I recently dined at Rajwadi Thali Chaat & Sweets, and while there were some shortcomings, I had an overall satisfactory experience. The platinum thali I ordered lacked salt in all of its items, which was disappointing. However, I must highlight the delicious papdi chaat that stood out with its flavors and textures. The Ras puri with undhiyu was decent, although it didn’t quite meet my expectations. On a positive note, the tea I had was absolutely amazing, offering a delightful blend and a perfect ending to the meal. While improvements can be made in terms of consistency and seasoning, the highlights like the papdi chaat and delightful tea are worth a visit.

I visited here and thought all the food was delicious. I cannot speak on how authentic the food is since I’m not Indian. However, I really enjoyed the platinum thali and the chole puri was my favorite!

We got there 15 minutes before they were closing, but the staff was kind enough to take our order. We all got platinum thali. Some dishes were good, and some others were not so much. Dishes I liked – paneer, rice, chole, udhiyu curry, kadhi, and aamras/mango Lassi. Khaman was very dry, and khichdi lacked flavors. You definitely get a lot of food, so one thali per person should be enough.

A Gujarati eatery in San Jose serving vegetarian fare with plenty of sweets. Orders are taken at the counter on arrival and the dishes are served on your table. We ordered the Thali and found that all the curries and sides on the thali were too sweet for our liking. The dhoklas were also too firm and too sweet. The best dish I sampled at my visit was the chole bhature which was reasonably good. I reckon I certainly would not visit again
