Nothing outstanding from the sushi itself: you have to have the standard of freshness, clean, and served properly. What I can say is that I was not disappointed and actually I was impressed to see fresh sea urchin and scallops as part of the sashimi deluxe platter. Presentation wasn’t over the top with all the shave white radish and other items that takes away from the food. Great place to have a wonderful dinner date as the background noise and music isn’t so loud and you can carry a very relaxing conversation. Outdoor seating is available at the sidewalk/storefront as well.

we had friendly service. felt the food was ok, not great. The fish wasn’t super fresh for the special of the day. Often the special is something special; other times, it is whatever restaurants are trying to get rid of. So it can be hit or miss. However, the roll sushi was good and fresh.

First time coming here and was greeted by a worker right at the entrance. Very friendly and was seated down immediately. Ordered a variety of food from the rolls to udon. Totally recommend to come here as the food are beyond my expectation and the workers are always there if you need assistance.

Really nice place with good food and cool ambience. Everything we ordered was delicious. The yellowtail sashimi was amazing with the black sesame sauce. The salad has nice touch of dressing. Their eel on rice is very nice.

Excellent food and service. The menu is great. We tried the dishes that you cannot find in the Raku or Rakuya locations. The food was delicious. Enjoyed the beef ragu pasta, mentaiko pasta, and the Hakko sushi boxes. Service by Veronica is always timely and very attentive. Thank you to the whole team that made this visit memorable! Will be coming back for sure!

Placed a takeout order online. Easy process and detailed description of each roll. There’s an option to add modifications to each roll. Upon arrival the dining area was packed for Wednesday evening. Beautiful atmosphere that I’ll be back to experience. The sushi rolls were in a container wrapped beautifully in a decorative green cloth. All the sauces for the individual rolls were on in cups on the side. Pictured is the volcano, rainbow, deluxe spicy tuna and wasabi roll. Best sushi I’ve had in the area, recently relocated from Japan. Rakigaki hit all the notes for a Japanese experience.
