My family & I are staying at KY Lake for vacation, and came to eat here. We got a table right away, and were greeted by a nice waitress. Service was really good. Food was decent. However, I left 1 star on the atmosphere because in the bar area, the staff working was the only people over there, and they were talking extremely loud. It was to the point that my family wasn’t able to hear each other talk at our own table. Other than that, everything was great. Just something they may want to address because it wasn’t something I think others would enjoy either.

We were a party of two. They had a table for two open. Girl behind register said we could be seated there, but the hosted said they needed other people seated first. It would be a hr wait. For the whole hr no one was seated at that table. We finally were seated and after 15 minutes of waiting we had flag down a employee to find our server. Server was very friendly but slow. Forgot to bring appetizer and had to ask for it. Not my best experience there. Kinda ruined the relaxing atmosphere.

If you have no food to serve, & not enough staff, why even advertise being open? –please post a notice on FB so people don’t drive hours to eat here and leave without getting to order. —Waitress offered her best, given the fact there was nothing on the menu in stock that we drove 2-hours round trip for. Atmosphere on deck in shade was great and waitress was great. But we left and never got to order because y’all were out of everything and we didn’t want leftover, old, breakfast buffet. We wanted lunch on this beautiful day to eat on your deck. Also noticed a LOT of tables all around with old food, dishes, that hadn’t been cleaned up. Are you that short staffed, on top of having no food to order off menu? Our sweet waitress missed out on a nice tip today. Don’t know if we’ll try you again or not? — we drove a ways down the road to some place else and had fantastic service, atmosphere and food. So sad Ralphs disappointed us this bad on our first visit

Service and atmosphere were great, with nice views of the marina area. Had the cod which was good, but the sides went unfinished. Mashed potatoes tasted like instant potatoes with no seasoning, and the Mac and cheese was just ok. The best part of the meal were the hushpuppies. Maybe just get an order of hushpuppies and call it a day.

After waiting more than 40 minutes for our Food, the manager came back and corrected us and said it was only 30 minutes. Then when we got the food, most of it was cold. The vegetables were overly seasoned and too salty. My wife’s chicken sandwich looked like a chicken nugget sandwich. way over priced. We’ve been going there for five years and every year it gets worse and worse. This was our last trip.

Sadly, we can’t eat there, we pulled up, and they said they don’t allow dogs on the patio. At a marina restaurant… we went up to Hu B’s on Barkley and they accommodated us with great food, great service. We usually go to KenLake Marina and they just happened to be closed on Wednesday, so we were going to try this place out. It’s too bad. Our dogs go boating with us, and we will stick with places that allow dogs on the patio.

They have a great chicken wrap. The table nachos are plenty to share. It’s a friendly place to go. Check out the beer garden and Saturday night entertainment.
