Nice neat and clean restaurant with good atmosphere. The decor is top notch. Portions are huge! The ramen was just ok, the broth could have been more flavorful, but the noodles were just right. For a ramen place, their rice plates were the highlight of the meal. Definitely recommend the grill mixed plate & whole squid. Delicious and well seasoned.

This is the 2nd time coming to Ramen 101 and both times we had a great experience! The ramen here is pretty darn good!!! We ordered the Seafood Ramen and the Black Garlic Ramen, which both had so much amazing flavor! This is definitely going to be our go to spot for ramen in Rancho area!

Ramen is amazing here, especially the black garlic flavor medium spicy. The soup is full of flavor you don’t want to stop eating. I have yet to find a place near that can beat the packed flavor this place delivers.

About time we got a good ramen joint in Rancho Cordova. Everything I’ve tried so far has been on point. Excellent fast service with friendly employees. You can ask for the level of firmness of the noodles even though it’s not listed as an option. Only down side is no fountain drink options, but realistically you’re not in the establishment long enough to have a bottomless beverage. So it’s a non issue for most. They have various bottled beverages and water. Been here several times since they opened and don’t see it changing any time soon.

Seafood ramen was so delicious. My kid loved the pork rib ramen. We also had some ragoons which had lots of air pockets. Two bowls, ragoons and two drinks with 20% tip came up to $60. Definitely only going around pay day.

Honestly, I’ve had better ramen in Sacramento. The black garlic ramen wasn’t bad but the flavor wasn’t strong enough for me. The soup was hot but by the time I was halfway done with my bowl, it was starting to get cold. I want my ramen steaming hot when it comes out. Anyways, I would try other food items next time like the rice and beef which looked really good and the grilled squid was awesome. I will give them 5 stars for the geso and will come back just for that alone. I also really like the order system where you order and pay upfront and leave once you’re done. It makes it super convenient and a fast lunch spot.
