The best! Their bone broth (shiro) ramen is to die for good. And the ladies behind the counter are fantastic! Only complaint is that the portions should be twice as big, but in terms of taste, flavor, and the way it is suppose to be this place gets it right!

This is a great ramen place! I got the spicy tonkatsu ramen and it have been one of the best I’ve had in the states! I strongly recommend to you to taste the meat ramens instead of other things.

I’ve been coming here regularly for more than a year and it’s always excellent. Like a Japanese version of taco salad with quality ingredients. Plus they have great ramen and vegan options. Everything is good here, you can’t go wrong.

For the price the quality isn’t very good. with tip and no other adds youre looking at almost 10$. For this you get two very small slices of pork belly (less than 4oz for sure). The meat is browned with a torch on one side to serve and each slice is at least 80% fat, not much edible meat at all. the fat is soft but gross without the hard sear on both sides. the broth and toppings are very good and it is probably better overall with the egg option and not the pork. i would try it again but it’s worth noting that your portion is small for this price. generally i would pay $5-8 total for this total. the adds are very expensive and without it the base meal is a little lacking. the signage at the cart itself isn’t great either and hard to read when crowded.

Edit: A year later and this place has really turned itself around. They’ve started using fresh noodles, the broth is now complex and delicious, and their prices are no longer ridiculous in the Portland cart scene. I’m not sure you can get a better ramen with the same convenience for under $10.

Honestly, we had pretty low expectations given it was 10:30pm on a saturday night in the middle of summer, but DAMN! This really hit the spot!

The best Ramen I have ever had and the desserts are delicious. It also has a lot of variety for vegetarians as well as traditional Japanese food. The great things is that it’s healthy for you.

The ramen was delicious! I had the Kuro, which has plenty of garlic succulence! I can’t wait to go back and try the Aka c; Very fast service, too! It took less than 5 minutes.
