The food was good but had room for improvement. The broth and noodles were great but the pork was all fat. There was no meat on it so unfortunately didn’t eat it and wished I had got another meat or tofu instead. The garlic edamame was over seasoned. I love salt and garlic and didn’t think it was possible to have too much until I had this edamame. If they had gone a little lighter on seasoning it would have been great. The staff and atmosphere was nice. Good music though a little too loud for dining in my opinion. Would go here again!

The food was great. Portion sizes were great. The ambience was good. Tables are a bit close to each other. We didn’t have to wait because there was only two of us. We will definitely recommend it and we will be back again when we are in Portland

Great ramen spot on the West End of downtown. Service was fast and friendly and the Deluxe Ramen with miso broth was delicious. Don’t skip the chicken karaage as an appetizer or add on to your ramen. My friends and I all agreed that was the best karaage we’ve had. And both of these items paired beautifully with an ice cold Sapporo on draft.

Ramen was flavourful with lots of green onion and black sesame oil. Tokoyaki was good and interesting with egg white bits in sauce. We found the Karaage was small and battered lighter than what we prefer.

Kaarage was good and with large portion with a fair price. Miso ramen was flavorful and noodle was really stretchy. Nice place to fill a savory crave stomach.

It’s a nice spot on the corner. I ate here 2 days in a row. I like the miso broth. I also got some ginger on the side to make the broth flavor really pop. The tenderness of the chashu was on point too.

Had Ramen Ryoma quite a few times visiting Portland for work. It is convenient that the spot is next to Hyatt Centric (where I stayed).

I believe this is their second location in Oregon. It’s a bit smaller than the Beaverton location. The menu items are similar to each other. I like that the service is pretty quick as they try to turn tables in quickly. I had the Tomago Mayu Ramen and my friend had the Deluxe Ryoma Ramen, and we shared a chasu bowl. The food came out pretty fast, and we were in and out within 30 minutes. The Tomago mayu was nice and rich in flavors. It’s a plus to get the spicy meat on the side for a little more heat.
