I heard the food here was good. It’s a nice space and appears clean. They don’t seem to believe in using the AC. The ceilings are high and they have large fans, but every time I have gone it’s been uncomfortably hot. There always seems to be staff who are off work going into the kitchen and even SMALL CHILDREN running in and out of the kitchen. I have ordered off the menu and eaten the seafood buffet. It’s all been extremely salty , yet bland. I was not happy that I paid $25 for the buffet and everything was old. They were not good at putting out fresh food when the pans were nearly empty. In the rare occasion they did put out something new, it tasted different from the previous batch.There’s no consistency. It’s not worth $25 , at all! The service isn’t great either. My server last time didn’t seem to understand English well and had her small children going in and out of the kitchen. It’s a hazard and made me very nervous for their safety.

The second experience I had here was much better than the first one. I said I wouldn’t be back but my wife talked me into giving them another chance. I am glad she did. It was just awesome!!! Thanks y’all. I’ll be back.

37.00!!!! For the dinner buffet!!! And trust me! It was disgusting!. Fish was cut way too thin.. So all you’re getting is crust. Shrimp was very dry.. I didn’t go back for seconds. Matter of fact I left my plate full!! Gumbo….. Yuk!! The potatoes and gravy were the only thing I could eat. Hush puppy’s were nasty!! I definitely will not be back here.

Lunch time is buffet only, with a decent selection. The place looks great and fresh! Too bad I can’t say the same for the taste of the food…Not the most fresh tasting, kinda tastes canned, but not terrible. At least the chicken and coleslaw are good. But the dessert is literally flavorless.

We like eating at Ramies. The boudin balls, like the service, are fantastic. However, it seems like that depends on who’s in the kitchen and who’s waiting on you. I feel there should be a bit more consistency in the service every person receives.
