This place is always packed for a reason. It’s off the beaten path, but the locals keep it jamming, so you know it’s a hit. Food and service are great, the atmosphere is spot on and the live music in the weekends is good to go.

The hostess was so friendly and helpful. I wish we stayed but my friend has cancer and we were on our way home from a radiation treatment. The place was full and noisy so I worried about the possibility of her catching something. I know I should have considered that before deciding to eat at a restaurant.

This was my first visit to Rams Head Roadhouse, and I enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere. It was in the middle of the day and in the middle of the week. It was kind of like a fancier diner with a bar because of how some meals are cooked right behind the bar in the open. I had chicken tacos, which were tasty. The French fries were very good too. It was a nice surprise that the beer on tap was from our own local brewery in Delaware. I would love to return to this location again.

Disappointed with our experience ordering delivery food. The $12 chicken tenders were pathetic. It was the size of a children’s menu and lacked flavor. The buffalo wings had very little sauce and flavor. The crab soup was full of real lump crab meat but thick as pudding. Really hoping this is a one off experience and looking forward to giving Rams Head Roadhouse another chance with a dine-in experience.

Monday is Lobster night! Arrived at 4 pm and ordered the lobster. You get a 1-1/2 lb. lobster, comes with a salad, ear of corn and a baked potato. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful sunny 80 degree weather!

Stopped here after taking the grandkids to the Monster Truck show (which was fun!) Cece took great care of us – she made excellent grapefruit crushes! The rockfish bites were the best we ever had and the BF raved about the loaded potato soup!

I hate leaving these, but tonight the dreaded 1 star was due. Not only was the greet time above 15 minutes, we had to ask the host to get our server. Another 5 minutes and our server comes, apologizes with the excuse of being double sat and then says I’ll be right back, i have to put these drinks in… No introduction of her name, no welcome to Ramshead, worst greet I’ve ever had. She comes back after i watched her run drinks, food and refill drinks before coming back to our table. At this point, she needed recovery mode. “Are you guys ready to order?” How about, I’m so sorry about the initial experience y’all have received, we’re going to make up for it right now with a menu tour let me suggest a couple of starters, which management could’ve easily comped for a rough greet time. We ordered, but she forgot to get an order for drinks. Another 10 minutes go by, and we had to stop her to put those in. Our food comes out after 25 more minutes, no offers on refills, how do you like your beer, nothing. We asked for the check and left.
