Port Byron has some great scenic views of the Mississippi River. I really haven’t taken advantage of them enough – I mostly just drive on through to and from work. This particular Friday, however, I needed to take it easy before really starting for the day, i.e. grab some lunch, ponder the day for a bit etc. With that in mind I decided lunch at Ram’s Riverhouse was in order before getting to work for the afternoon. I needed a burger in between work at home and doing stuff at site.

Nice little place with a view of the river. Friendly staff. They have added an open bar to the street so you can get the breeze and look at the river.

3rd time eating here. I like the Taco salad here. I don’t normally complain but the taco salad i had on Sunday was the worst I had ever. It was a handful of lettuce a little bit of cheese and I could hardly find any meat. Not sure what happened here, but we won’t be back unfortunately.

What an absolutely perfect pit stop! We were traveling from California to Pennsylvania along the 80, in a hurry and decided it was time to sit down and have a meal- I cannot tell you how happy we were to stumble upon rams riverhouse, only 5 minutes off the highway, plenty of parking in the CUTEST town, quality food served with smiles, we sat outside on a lucky cool enough evening, and were delighted to enjoy a meal looking at the Mississippi River. We happened to sit down within a few minutes of one of the partial owners and had the most pleasant conversation. 10/10 recommend!

This place was definitely worth our short drive off the interstate. I had the Cuban and the smoked pork was awesome. Ladies split the tenderloin and it was just as good. Prices where reasonable for a late lunch. Very clean and nice bar & restaurant. This will be our go to spot from now on when in the area.

Since we live close to Rams riverhouse, my husband and I decided to stop in and have lunch. He ordered their buffalo wings and fries. He said the fries were really good and the buffalo wings were good just not spicy enough. They had really good flavor. Maybe extra sauce might have made them more spicy? I had a chef salad with ham. The salad was quite a bit larger than I expected with all different types of leaf lettuces excluding iceberg. Tomatoes cheese and just the perfect amount of onion not to overpower the salad. We will go back.

Had a very difficult experience here. Short staffed and unprepared. Many food items were “out” (no chicken) and the service took 90 minutes to receive our food. Should probably have closed their kitchen that night if they couldn’t keep pace with the customers. Sandwich was supposed to have cheese…did not get cheese

Came here to try their food during tug fest and the owner was wasted and extremely rude and unprofessional. She misplaced $100 and proceeded to look at me and my friends table, who are also business owners, and accuse us while pointing. Horrible establishment.
