This place is out of this world good. My steak came out medium rare without me even having to ask for that. I don’t ever ask for medium rare for carne asada bc it’s so thin-cut that I know it’s a pain to get it just right especially in a busy kitchen. I really wanted steak and would have accepted a well-done steak given that I didn’t specify either way but my steak was a perfect medium rare. The beans were like velvet. The rice was fluffy and flavorful. THE CHEESE DIP WAS GLORIOUS. Even the tortillas were beyond good. The salsa was delicious with just a hint of spice to make you reach for your water/drink which was served in nice big glasses. We went in at around 4pm on a Saturday I wanna say and the service was incredible. Above and beyond but also not hovering or rushing. They weren’t super busy so I hope that’s just because lots of people order to-go. I can’t say enough good things. Even their pico was fantastic and looked beautiful. We are new to town and I’m happy to say we have found our new spot. It’s comforting to find a place where you can go and just know that everything is gonna be consistently great. 10/10 would absolutely recommend.

Didn’t even know this restaurant existed until a friend informed me about it. It’s hidden from view if you’re on the interstate, and it’s kinda hidden from view on Highway 66 as well. Good food and decent prices – we had the smothered beef burrito, shrimp fajita, and a taco salad. Tortilla chips are really crispy and the salsa is perfect. Good amount of tables and seats, and plenty of free parking outside.

Place has amazing food and a great atmosphere. It was a busy table, was dirty, and hardly ever seen the waitress. The only time I seen her was when I ordered and when I paid to leave. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel cups. I would love to go again, and it is worth trying out. Wish they had a bean dip with the salsa that would have made wait better. It’s a whole in the wall but is worth trying.

As you walk in The ambiance sets the tone for the holidays. Calming atmosphere and clean all around. Waiters where both knowledgeable of the menu. Great customer service she was attentive as my foid made it to the table, right away she let me know plates where hot and to be careful. Her shift was over and kindly let me know wich would me my next waiter. both greeted you with a smile. unlike other places where you have to be looking for a waiter here they were at hand as needed. Tostadas and salsa available to munch on before food arrives. The Food was good, i ordered the house special for three. All sorts of tender meat, juicy chicken. Well cooked fish and shrimp, well seasoned cactus all on the steaming hot platter. Came with side plate of beans with cheese rice and lettuce. I Also ordered three burritos to go. All Well made. And ready for me, as i asked for the check. Over all good experience. I recommend it.

Chips were bland. Salsa was thinner, nice and spicy. Everything had too much red onion (guac, street tacos), making it bitter. Al pastor was very good, but the carnitas were dry. Had some Pollo norteño, which was pretty good, but quite expensive, around $17. Someone got fajitas without meat and they doubled up the veggies, which is nice.

I got the Chile rellenos (one of each) and my son got carne Asada tacos. I’m not sure what is in the queso fundido but it is delicious!! Super good tortillas too!

Service was amazing and the food was great! I had the chilaquiles and my husband had the birra queso tacos. The flavor was fantastic and had the right bit of heat. Their queso fundido was delicious, we had to take the rest home since we didn’t want to waste it. We’ll definitely be coming back.

My husband and I ordered the costillas, and the meat smelled bad, was gray, and looked nothing like ribs. I’m not sure what it was, but we were grossed out and won’t go back. Do yourself a favor and drive a few minutes further for mexican food.
