Food is always nice and hot. I have enjoyed everything I have ordered. Staff is friendly and quick with service. The salsa and nachos they stock the tables with are good too, they aren’t the flimsy chips many places serve, salsa has a nice little bite. Draft is served in a thick-wall frosted mug. Great little place.

When we moved down here, we tried many Mexican restaurants before we tried Escondido Mexicano. It’s definitely our place now. Their guacamole is THE best. I was really pleased with the fajitas as the vegetables tasted freshly cooked and crisp. Not mushy like they’d sat in a pot all day like so many other places. They also give you an option for black beans vs. mushy refried beans.
